We very much enjoyed the dinner and breakfast buffet during our stay at the lodge. Service was very attentive! Lots of food choices and staff willing to make your meal perfect. When I ordered the bbq nachos for a snack while we used the pool, the kitchen staff brought it to me, opened the box and asked, is this what you expected? She said, if it's not, I will make it again...who does that? I was so impressed! We had a great experience in the dining room and the entire lodge. We were here for a wedding that was awesome!
We are here every single year on labor day weekend for a family reunion. We typically eat their breakfast and lunch buffets. The food is always very good and the service is always fast and friendly.
The prime rib Sunday buffet is the family favorite! The prices are very reasonable at around $18 considering what a plate would cost you at a steakhouse. They have seafood buffet nights, and breakfast and lunch buffets throughout the week too. I've never ordered off the menu, but it's supposed to be an option as well. Everything is flavorful and seasoned just right. Food is superb. Best banana pudding I have ever had from a restaurant. It's not a huge buffet, but you dont need 100 options when the food quality is this good and who really needs all those choices. The buffet menu is available online, I love that feature. The facility is very nice as well. The lighting could be better, for someone with vision issues, it's my only true complaint but the view from the ledge of the mountain is refreshing and peaceful and makes the meal a wonderful experience.
