I’m from Gulfport, & I’ve eaten here for breakfast many times. My favorite is the sausage white gravy & biscuits. Their lunch is wonderful too. Everything is consistent & the price is great for the giant plate of food they serve you. It’s the closest thing to home cooking anywhere on the coast! The staff is fabulous, the only waitress works so hard. The cooks amazingly makes everything consistently! They have the best coffee!!! I can’t say enough great things about this place! I can’t wait to eat here again this week! Thank y’all for making a wonderful dining experience, it makes you feel like home!

Yes, yes, YES! The beignets are every bit as good as anything on the French Quarter. Affordable, made to order good ole comfort food. You won't be sorry. The service isn't fast but this isn't fast food. Be patient and you're belly will be happy. The people are super friendly and work hard to keep you coming back.

Moved back to the coast recently. Would go here with my Grandmother years ago... the veal cutlet is not what it used to be. Frozen pattied meat, not a real veal cutlet anymore. My husband had a burger, he said it was great. Server not very attentive, We were one of only two tables occupied at lunch.

Awful!!! Save your money. I've been dining there since the late 70s. Food and service have gone downhill. I won't be back! Our server had a lazy attitude, out of grits and didn't seem to care. No second cup of coffee. I was about to ask for a warm up when she told me to pay up front. Sausage was miniscule. Eggs had no flavor and not cooked over medium as ordered. The lady up front who took my money asked about our meal. I said it could have been better. She could care less. She only wanted to know if we were locals. Why ? She certainly did nothing to get this local back.

Stopped by for breakfast recently, waited too long to get order in, eggs under cooked, grits runny. No refill on coffee, waitress disappeared, had to ask dishwasher collecting bustubs for more coffee. Decided to try lunch special a couple days later. Shame on me. Waited again too long to order, food took over 20 minutes. Waitress never brought my tea, had to ask for it. Waitress ignored numerous patrons while she played with her phone. Pork Chop offered was not a chop but rather a boney, fatty pork something. 6% bone very salty. Disgusting. Maybe the burgers are good, if you have plenty of time to wait.

Have heard great things about this place and tried it out this morning. While the food was good and very fairly priced, the service was awful, unfortunately. Our waitress didn’t even wait for us to finish our order before trying to move on to the next table to give them their check. I had to call her back over to finish our order and the 2 last items were not documented and we ended up having to request them again, when they weren’t brought out with our food, only to be told they no longer had hash browns and they would have to make the beignets for us. This was relayed after already waiting just under an hour for our food to come out. She also never checked on us with our drinks, no updates on the progress with our food, never asked how our food was or if we needed anything. She finished off by dropping off our check, in passing, and stating that we pay up front, and moved on. My husband and I are very generous tippers, but, due to the lack of service and extreme wait time, we didn’t even leave a tip. I hope this is not a common occurrence, however, we will not be going back to see.
