Ribs & Reds

First time visitor, chose the $8 lunch and was a little skeptical when they first brought the food out. However it was absolutely delicious and that price included 2 sides, drink and dessert! Server was very friendly and attentive, parking area under building with handicapped ramp all the way up. Outdoor seating as well. Decent view of ocean between the condos across street.

I have no clue what these other people are saying with bad reviews! I have been coming to gulf shores for over 10 year's and this was my 1st time here! THEY ARE CRAZY! THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! We were going to other restaurant 2 hr wait so we said what about here! We called ahead to check wait owner/manager said not bad how many in party. He had table waiting for us especially nice cause my mom has power chair! They have the best food ribs best ever had, they sure know how to cook a steak, and waiter was very polite and ran like crazy to wait on tables! They seem to be from different culture didn't ask kind (didn't matter to me) so be patient if they don't understand you. We all talk different! Lady at front was so thankful for my positive comments. Thanks WE WILL BE BACK!

Best restraunt I've been to, ate there twice while on vacation. Me and the wife ordered the ribs and seafood meal for two, it was enough food for four people and it was all great. The next time we went I ordered the full rack of ribs meal, the ribs were fall off the bone tinder and melted in the mouth, best ribs I've ever had. My wife ordered the fried fish meal and loved it. We left both times we went stuffed and well worth the money and the service was great and friendly.

I love this restaurant. My family & I come back every year. Ribs and reds has a great variety of food, from sandwiches, salads, their famous ribs and shrimp. The waitress was great & very knowledgeable about the choices. The service was excellent. The owner came to every table & asked if the food was good & how everything was. Very nice. The Red Shrimp is some of the biggest & best that you can get. They have where you can eat either inside or outside, or you can order it to go. Right across the street from the ocean, so you have a pretty good ocean view. There were couples, family with small kids & babies, it is a family oriented place. Fantastic place. :) I definitely recommend it.

We frequent Gulf Shores each year but this was our first time eating at Ribs & Reds. Our server, Tanner, was super nice, very timely, and never left us waiting for anything. The entire staff were more than nice. And, my goodness, the food was AMAZING. We will definitely be back when we come back down from North Alabama. 10/10 would recommend.

I have NO idea why this isn't a 5 star restaurant review from everyone. This is the BEST crab legs in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach. There is only 2 claws in the order, which made me nervous that I was going to be hungry after my meal, but I am STUFFED. I had 5 claws across the street last night and A) wasn't full and B) the meat wasn't very sweet or full. These two claws were HUGE. They were hanging off the plate and so full. Meat all the way through. You can tell they buy quality crab legs. Well worth the money (which is not more expensive than anywhere else). If I had to wait 30 minutes to eat here vs going somewhere else without the wait, I would. That's how great it was. The owner kept coming through the restaurant and making sure everyone had full drinks, orders taken, and didn't need anything else. If I could rate this higher than a 5, I would.

I wasn't blown away with the service, but the ribs were excellent and the shrimp was awesome. We got there at 2pm so it was probably a weird time to be there. There weren't many others eating so we got right to the table, which was great after waiting a couple hours at the Hangout the night before. $50 lunch for family of 4.

The food was good and good drink prices. (Try the amaretto Orange blossom) our server seemed stoned or something but he read us back our entire order to double check everything and was pretty attentive so no complaints. Their yellow fin tuna is excellent and their shrimp salad, hush puppies and ribs were all great too. A bit on the pricey side even for this area. I would go back.
