Stopped into the Marketplace on the green in Guilford for lunch. What a treasure this place is. My husband is vegan happily they had options for him as well. It’s a walk up to the counter and order type of place with many many choices from deli to bakery coffee etc. Plenty of seating indoors and out. I noticed one of the soups of the day was a creamy carrot and dill needless to say I couldn’t resist it. It was delicious flavorful and creamy with just the right amount of dill. I asked for the curried chicken salad on a croissant it was so good a little sweet a little spice everything you’d want in a curried chicken salad. My husband went for the house made veggie burger which he absolutely loved. We will definitely return,

Wish I could give them 0. Took over 30 minutes for a Italian combo as the only one in line. The sandwich came out painfully mid and I couldn’t even finish it. The bread was awful and could barely chew on the meats. For 15 dollars it was terrible. My buddy got a Reuben and it was terrible too. There was barely any meat on it and the sandwich was put together horribly. All around a terrible experience and I’m sorry for anyone that has had the inconvenience of eating there.

Our favorite spot in Guilford! This place has it all. You can get breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For prepared food, they have breakfast sandwiches, egg plates, burgers, fries, giant salads, chicken nuggets, kids meals, and more. There’s also a pastry cooler with crossaints, muffins, donuts, cookies, cupcakes, etc. Finally, there are really good soups that change daily. At the drink bar you will find coffee creations, smoothies made with real fruit not those weird mixes some places have, hot chocolate drinks, teas, and milkshakes. For easy dinner, there are prepared meals to go in the cooler. The butcher has delicious cuts of meat and seafood. There are frozen crab cakes and other delights. Plus a cheese and meat cooler and a small selection of non-perishable items like pasta and crackers. The staff is always helpful and friendly. There are plenty of tables indoors and outside. This place is worth a visit!
