Old school jazz club. Excellent musici. We saw Alexander Zonjic. Our waiter was attentive and produced our food quickly before the start of the show. Both the scallops and the vegetable cassoulet were delicious.
Saw Kimmie Horne...excellent show and atmosphere, great food, but pricey!! I had the tomato soup, salmon with brussel sprouts and potatoes, and the opera chocolate dessert. All delicious. Great waitstaff!! Enjoyed the free valet service as well. Everyone very courteous!
I had an absoloutely fantastic time at dirty dog jazz cafe. Valet was polite and prompt, my reservation was recognized and was seated by a polite host. The service staff was polite and professional and then there was the food. Wonderfuly prepared and presented. My favorite part of the meal that blew me away was the side of asparagus. No special sauce, no fancy presentation, it was just cooked and seasoned PERFECTLY and treated so honestly. Throughout the meal the professionals on staff we're attentive and the server helped with suggestions of wine and favorites all eavening. Highlighting the night was a wonderful jazz band that completed the feel. The only complaint I could make is that when the valet returned my vehicle there was a smell of smoke inside. A few minutes with the windows open resoved the issue, no problem. Thank you again for the wonderful night, many compliments!
I love it.. A great bar. The restaurant offers an interest selection of small plates and entrees. We have tried a wide variety and each was excellent. Our service has always been first class. And the real treat: excellent music, especially during the week when the ensembles are not national names but have talent and enthusiasm

Love the intimate setting. Staff was wonderful. Food excellent. Loved the decor. Lookslike a great place for some live jazz. We were there for lunch.
This restaurant has great ambience. The live music sets the night off perfectly and the musicians are excellent. We had a private party on the room separated but we were able to step into the main area. The food was well prepared and good for the price. I'd recommend this place for a cozy date night.
We really enjoyed this place. The place is beautiful, small and cozy for an intimate night with a loved one. The salmon was delicious! The drinks were on point and beautifully designed. The visiting band was awesome, truly beautiful night 😊
The Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe is a world class jazz club that has been lovingly created in the middle of Grosse Pointe Farms. The building has been redone with exceptional attention to detail and it really stands out from any other venue. It is a very unique and intimate setting to have a meal or cocktails and listen to the great jazz artists that are on tour. The food is very good and so is the service. Very popular and people visit from all over the city so best to make reservations.
This is a must go to experience. Food amazing. Music was off the chart
Always love the food. Too dark. We were given mask rules when seated, however, Cook come out with no mask on twice.
