Honestly I have never liked ice cream. It always hurt my teeth and never tasted good to me. But when is was young my parents and I were going up to my lake house and we tried it. It is honestly the only ice cream place I will ever really enjoy. I love how it melts in your mouth and the taste is just so nice and creamy. If you are ever near here you need and I mean you need to try there ice cream.
P.S White Chocolate is the best
9.9.23 We stopped to grab ice cream and miraculously at 6:30pm there was no line. Super quick, friendly service, ample parking, friendly staff, and delicious ice cream. We had peach flavor and vanilla with chocolate chunks and strawberries on top. Yummy!
I can only speak for the sunflower fields, as the line was super long for ice cream (which was no big deal but something to consider when going).
The sunflower fields were superb and offered plenty of great views. Going during the Make-A-Wish event is recommended so you can get. Sunflower to take home. There are bees there, so be ready for buzzing near the ears. The bees are calm though, they mind their business. Definitely recommend for kids and families for a nice summer day. Couples and flower fans will also enjoy the scenes.
Absolutely love Buttonwood Farm Ice Cream! When you first pull into the parking lot — which is always busy — you’re wary of the wait times, but with six (6) windows (or more!) open the line always moves quickly! The ice cream is delicious, and the setting was perfect. We took our ice cream into the sunflower fields and cut some beautiful flowers. It was a great trip!

There will probably be a line when you pull in, but it goes fast and you'll need the extra time to decide what to get. I recommend getting two scoops of different flavors.
I got the Oreo mint and was really pleased with it. No unnecessary food dyed and it tasted like mint - not toothpaste.

Buttonwood Farm Ice Cream is delicious and the perfect stop after visiting their sunflower field. We visited during their Make-A-Wish fundraiser. It was great to walk through the rows of sunflowers and see all the happy honeybees. We brought our two pups and infant daughter, they all had a blast. There were ample porta potties and trash bins for comfort. If you get the chance to visit while the sunflowers are in bloom, I highly recommend it!

Please visit this beautiful farm with the most delicious ice cream and now thru July 30th the make a wish foundation receive donations from the sales. The sunflowers are beautiful. There are acres of sunflowers🥰 The farm is open thru the fall.
We were there an evening for ice cream at Buttonwood Farm. They have a huge menu of all sorts of flavors. Huge parking lot and sunflower farm right across. They are open from March to end of October. Must stop by place if you are around for a quality ice cream.
Hope they bring back ginger ice cream! We enjoyed our ice cream choices. Walked thru the sunflower patch and went across the street to conversate with a few cows (😂).
Very yummy ice-cream! Highly recommend the cookie dough! They also have homemade waffle cones. The sunflowers are TO DIE FOR! I’ve never seen so many! A wonderful place to stop and (literally) smell the flowers
Fantastic homemade ice cream and worth a drive from anywhere! Favorite flavors are shamrock swirl (which is unfortunately only available in March), graham cracker, and chocolate chip. A hot fudge sundae with graham cracker ice cream is like frozen chocolate cream pie!
