Taco John's

based on the experience it was so so.. service was a bunch of teenagers who seemed to enjoy hanging out together making tacos.. taco johns definitely does cost more than taco bell.... atleast you won't regret it later on the toilet. good food nice kids working. will be back.. also the wife loved the new fish tacos that are 2 for 5.

Reading other reviews, this store seems to have an issue with getting the meat into the boss burritos. Ordered a chicken boss burrito and it came with no chicken. Not to mention the employees seem to lack any real work ethic or motivation to do their job correctly. I never have the amount of issues at other taco johns in Des Moines than I do with this one in grimes.

I was in uniform as I am in the Army. Waited for a late mobile order. Had thought something was missing in the order as the portions were much smaller than anticipated. Was rudely dismissed and treated as if I was mentally incapable of understanding. Employee should thoroughly reconsider their attitude.

We have made this our main TJ's for a long time. Today, July 3, 2022 may have been the last time we go. Did Drive thru, Order 14460218, my Beef Taco was skimpy and my husbands tortilla was so dry it was hard and cracked. I did find the rest of my taco....in the bottom of the bag! If I had wanted a Walking Taco I would have asked for one. The guy taking Drive thru orders was barely understandable. He handed us our food and we said Thank You - he said NOTHING. Take Note TJ's - the people of Grimes shutdown Burger King, because it was poor in every way. Keep up your ways.......

As we were ordering the gentleman taking the order kept rushing us. Once we got up to the window, he was being very short and rude with us. At that point we did ask for a manager on site. The manager showed up, and was basically laughing at us, and acted highly unprofessional. I'm pretty sure he was on something and it was evident in the fresh track marks on his arms. We then just asked for our money back and decided to go elsewhere.
