Serio's Italian Restaurant

I had high hopes for this place. I ordered a ceasar salad with blackened chicken on top. The chicken tasted like it had been cooked or stored with fish. So I ordered chicken Alfredo. My pasta tasted and smelled like it had been cooked in filthy, week old dishwater. I was appalled to say the least. I didn't complain because I'm not that type but I surely won't be going back or recommending to anyone.

Our server did not serve the order as published in the menu. She never corrected the problem and we had to actually show her the item on the menu to prove it was wrong. In addition, there was no salt and pepper and no bread or olive oil on the table. When requested,we got a basket with five very small pieces of bread with the explanation there was no more ready (7 were at our table and 8 at another). They never brought more bread. The person who brought the salt and pepper and bread needs an attitude adjustment and the server needs some training. Two of us split the wrongly served order and we never got another plate even though it was requested. One of us used the little bread plate. One good comment..the sauteed spinach was delicious.

Maybe it was just a bad night, but tonight when my coworkers and I went for dinner it was not great at all. It took 20 minutes between our appetizers and salads to get to the table. The little things we asked for, like extra ranch or silverware, we never received. We didn't worry about it the first time, but the 2nd and 3rd time we were a little frustrated. When our food finally came out, it was below standards. Our food was cold and my food was overcooked and hard. The butter had already started to solidify on my plate. We had to get silverware from another table. Finally, a coworker went to the kitchen door to ask for what we needed, only to see workers on their phones, laughing and talking with food sitting in the window. When we received the check our waitress "accidentally" added gratuity to our check. There was only 5 of us. To top things off, our server was the manager. Needless to say we were very disappointed in the service. The hostess, Angel, took better care of us than our server. Normally the food is great when we order for lunch, tonight was not worth the headache we went through.
