Steak 'n Shake

Added chilli and cheese to my fries with my meals and a medium chilli cheese fry , this is what I got a two reg size fries and a medium fry the was only half full and they give me a cup of chilli and two things of shredded cheese and one liquid cheese. Was told this was how it was made. Also I ask for a liquid cheese sauce and the guy was like well we are supposed to charge 50 cent and I replied I already paid for the for three chilli cheese fries. Should not paid extra for these items when it is supposed to come already on them.After all of that I ask for one of my sandwiches with no onions and it had onions on it they did remake it but this make me not want to go back. Would love for someone form this business to reach out to me.

While I admit it's not really friendly to the technically challenged anymore (due to kiosk only use), the food was really good. Shakes are always better when you dine in. Warning to the older folks though, my grandma told me she wouldn't have been able to do it herself. I would assume and hope that the staff would help out those who can't use the kiosk only method they have now. Honestly, given the staff used to take ages to get your food or anything you need, I prefer having the ability to do it myself now. Much quicker and more pleasant experience.

Please don't serve food that you wouldn't want to pay for and then receive yourself. These pics don't even do this mess justice. This was inedible. There was so much sauce on it, it was sleeping through the bread, spilling out the sides and was all over the wrapper. The rest of the food we ordered was fine.

Faith in SnS: Restored! I have visited this location THREE times in the last month. Granted it's been during lunch time, but I was highly satisfied with each visit. I drive a tall vehicle and am unable to utilize most drive-thrus. I was very pleased to find their dining room open. They have made changes to the whole system. You now order and pay on a kiosk at the counter (some for cash and some for card). You pick your food up at the counter next to the drink station. The drink station has been turned around so you are able to get your own refills. (The only thing I'm missing from there is the cherry and vanilla syrups.) Obviously, there are no servers, and you can sit wherever you want. While these changes may seem cold and disconnected, I think it is the consequence to rectify the damage from a generation of poor work ethic. The food I received each time was outstanding! My shakes and chilis were FULL. I had plenty of cheese for my fries. The changes I requested for my meals were honored and nothing was missing! I couldn't have been happier. I will drive passed other locations to patronize this one.

It was our first time visiting a Steak n Shake in years. The one closest to us really went downhill for a while. They have changed from having wait staff to having customers order on a kiosk and going up to the counter to get food when your number was called. The kiosk was fairly easy to use and the food was still good. We will go back. They still have the best fries!

Great customer service, fast service & my orders were all correct (except they gave me all cheese sauce instead of Frisco sauce & ranch lol - didn't find that out til I got home & didn't feel like returning). I've used the app to place orders and picked them up, it was easy and the orders were correct. Definitely recommend.
