Went for a quick lunch, arrived about 1:30-45, with friends from the area. When we arrived the place was empty, it was a Monday and we weren't sure it was open, but they were and seated us right away. The place was well maintained, very clean tables. I ordered a small plate calamari & my daughter ordered a mozzarella pizza to share. Both dishes were delicious and the perfect size to share for a late lunch and to have room for desserts: a chocolate mousse to die for topped with fresh strawberries & whipped cream & 3 scoops of very yummy gelato. Our friends very much enjoyed their meals as well. Interior was impressive and layout was expansive, open and airy. Highly recommend this place for a bite to eat!

This was our first, and sadly last time going to Douro. The bar service was actually great, the team members were attentive, positive, and delivered drinks quickly to us. Kudos to that team. It’s a beautiful space as well, and not too packed at the bar as we found a spot to place our order quickly while waiting to be sat.
The food, while not bad, was underwhelming. Seasoning was sparse and portions were minimal given the price tag. When one charges $36 for a chicken entree, I expect a full plate with effort put into it, not two cutlets that were barely grilled and under-seasoned over top a handful of fried potato slices. There are simple efforts that can be made to improve upon their dishes to elevate them to be deserving of the price.
However, the food was an afterthought compared to the ABYSMAL service we received once we sat at our table. The server seemed disinterested, annoyed, and at times disgusted that he was required to take our order. There were no check-ins after we were served the appetizer or entrees, and we had to flag down another staff member in order to place another drink order in. The server said maybe one or two words to us which was “Did you order?” After noticing we got our drinks at the bar. I strongly suggest their front of house manager takes better oversight of their staff. I would have much rather preferred being served by the runners or team members refreshing water than this individual. He might want to pursue other career opportunities as his conduct is a liability to their business.

This place was crowded, but misleading. Beautifully appointed restaurant, but the food was disappointing. I had the worst Watermelon/Feta salad of my life, and that was a special. We tried the Tuna taco appetizer which came with with 1 mediocre taco. We shared the Tuna Poke Bowl, again disappointing. It was $100 , including 2 drinks, which my $18 Martini was a short pour.. We would have ordered more food but everything was terrible. And the waiter handed me a dirty menu....sorry no exuses! Will not be returning. Choose one of the other restaurants Great Greenwich has to offer.

I had a rotten olive in my martini, leaving me no option but to quickly spit it out in front of other diners and was left with a terrible rancid taste in my mouth. Server was made aware and didn’t even offer water, or to take the drink off the bill. Food was basic, but tasty. Regardless, considering my overall experience I won’t be back. So many better options out there, where you can trust the bar will ensure any fruit used in cocktails is fresh..

Shrimp empanadas were embarrassing, no shrimp, strong deep fry taste, and very small portions. The house burger was decent but not for the price, friend asked for medium rare and was given medium well. I have been here before, the pizza is decent. I do no recommend coming here!

My husband and I went to Greenwich to spend the day there. Thought it would be nice to eat on the Main Street.
We wanted something different so chose this restaurant because it mentioned Portuguese food. If memory serves me correct most of the dishes there are fish?
We were looking forward to what the over view described as Mediterranean.
On arrival the inside decor is lovely, however, the menu was a total loss. Tacos!
Salad or soup. The main course was chicken or salmon or shrimps. The chicken was a frozen sliver with veggies, described as being in a honey yogurt sauce but no sauce was there. The salmon was also frozen and basic with a few veggies. How can these owners describe their food as Mediterranean or Portuguese’s food?
The service was very bad. The waitress and waiter literally stood behind my husbands chair asking him if he had finished at every bite he took. Immediately cleared the table. Wine poured but glass never refilled or came to the table to ask if anything more was required.
Food was ridiculous and portions small and very over priced.

Disappointed with all the aspects! There were oil everywhere and the meat which should be well cooked it wasn’t. For $100 I was expecting more quality
