Kountry Kitchen Restaurant

This review is for the outdoor dining seafood concept called “Kountry Clam Shack” which is the parking lot of kountry kitchen. We visited here after spotting it while driving by. It was surprising to see a fried seafood restaurant so far from the coast, but there it was! They offer a separate order-ahead pick up window, and also outdoor seating for “dine in”. We decided to eat there, and were seated promptly. The menu had a good variety of selections, and the place was busy, which is usually a good sign. Once we ordered, the food didn’t take long to come out to the table. Everything was pretty good overall. The food came out hot and looked good. And the service was excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly. One part that could have been improved, was that my chowder may have been held at too high of a temperature, which caused it to break, and appear curdled, the flavor was still good, but the appearance and mouthfeel left a little to be desired. I’m hoping and assuming this was an isolated issue, and plan to try it again in the future. The rest of the order was good, and overall had a good experience.

Here's why...I love the place... actually.why my sister and I love this place... Warm...not talking about weather.. (although it was hot that day )... It's friendly... charming.. positive... When our breakfast orders arrived..I found both our meals.were generous in presentation...and portion. I liked our server... even though busy... upbeat. My sister commented what a great staff. Even though..(due to today's circumstances).. we've dined at picnic tables... socially distancing. We didn't mind... because our seating was close to the parking lot..and my car..so it was easy to walk to Anyway....The menu offered a bit of something for everyone.
