I drive 981 miles to come home twice a year. The first place we eat is Gino's. There is not any better food from the chili slaw burgers to the catfish sandwiches! The staff is so nice. I wish we could open one in Florida! They have no idea what our catfish tastes like.
Gino's hamburgers are the very best I have ever eaten. Gino's is number 1, above Five Guys or Whataburger. Wish I had one right now. Will definitely eat at Gino's when I am visiting in Mississippi,
Nice cozy environment, no long wait. The fish and fries were fresh out the grease and not too hard. I was very pleased by the way it looked and how it tasted. Would recommend Gino's to other fish lovers
Great food ! Lots of fun! I love jukebox. It has a cool sound. The patty were per presses. But the place was clean enough. Go check it out for your self.
Really great food, large selection to choose from but always busy and takes a while. Worth it if you're not in a rush.
I will start by saying the staff was friendly but seemed stressed. I guess it's common for the area, but the water had a brown tint. We had seven people dining. When we got our food, nothing was labeled so we had to unwrap each burger and peel back the bun to try and determine who order what. We finally just have up and everyone grabbed a burger. The burger was good but I'm not completely convinced that I was eating the specific burger I ordered.
Gino’s is the one restaurant I have to go to whenever I’m visiting my hometown. They have provided consistent food since before I can remember. The catfish sandwich is amazing. It comes with one piece of fish, but if you ask for a large, you’ll get two. It’s not on the menu though. The coleslaw on it is the best and I always add cheese for additional flavor. Gino’s is also known for its burgers, which are great with chili and coleslaw added. The drive-through can be slow if there are several cars. However, that’s fine because I always get hot, fresh food. On my last visit, I asked if they had lemonade. The lady said yes and I ordered it. When she passed me the drink, I asked why it was pinkish. She told me it was pink lemonade. That would have been nice to know before I ordered it. There was also something floating in it, so that’s the reason for the 4 star review. Next time, I’ll just drink something at home lol.
