The Ashen Rose

This was my first time here. My partner has been many times. We had the mozzarella cheese sticks ave steak bites. Cheese sticks were outstanding, marinara was ice cold. Steak bites were obviously not fresh and very dry, but the flavor was good. She enjoyed her burger, I got the cheesesteak sandwich, zero flavor, I mean not even salt or pepper and was extremely greasy. Fries and onion rings were great. I'm guessing the server was new. She couldn't answer any questions about the beers and flat out told me she hadn't tried any of the food. I was really looking forward to this, but was sadly disappointed.

We went about 13:00hrs on Sat, 22JAN22 & loved every second. I'm sorry for not posting pics, but we will be back! I highly recommend the Chicken Fried Bacon w Maple Syrup dipping sauce. It's so good I literally threatened to stab my hubs with a fork if he reached for the last piece! Everything we have eaten there is homemade, hot, fresh &very generous on their portions!

First time at the Ashen Rose. There was a very nice lady server with great personality. Went above and beyond, my friend ordered the wings and said they were great. 3 stars because my burger meat had a funny smell and was kind of disgusted by it, I wish that for beer they had an option of bigger glasses. Price was good. I would come back for those wings.

We stopped in here on our way to Paris Texas on a Saturday for lunch. I am so glad we decided to stop here. The food was amazing and the bartender/ waitress was great even when she started getting busy she was on top of everything. If your passing through town or are a local I highly recommend checking this place out.
