Hwy 55 Burgers

This was one of my last meals in North Carolina, and my goodness, y'all won me over. I'd ordered through DoorDash, and oddly enough, this was the location that filled my order, rather than the one closer to my hotel - which happened to be the location right up the street from where I had lived, lol. My poor Dasher had a long trip, so I gave them a second tip upon arrival for the trouble. Let me start off my Hwy 55 review by saying the fries and tots weren't the freshest, but they were still delicious - which is never the case anywhere else, in my experience. I got my Andy-sized burger Carolina-style, and boy, was it tasty. The hotdog, which I'd had made with mustard and grilled peppers and onions, was absolute perfection; I'd never had that type of hotdog before, and it has ruined me off of all other hotdogs - it was THAT incredible. Orangeade is the best drink in creation and I could drink a gallon of it every day. I adored the car and stickers for the kid's meal; there were two sheets of stickers, so I got to keep the other as a souvenir for myself after giving my son his. I cannot wait to get more of this amazing food when I come back for vacation. Y'all are the best! This first-time customer was wicked impressed.

I haven't lived in Greenville since 2008, and when I get here, I find out Andy's is now Hwy 55! It's ok, though, because the food is still d@mn good, and the service exceptional. I highly recommend the bacon cheeseburger, it's always been my favorite thing at this place. Make sure you leave them a really nice tip, they deserve it.

This location has gone downhill fast. The place looks and feels absolutely filthy, not sure when the last time they mopped is. They had employees working that literally had no idea what was on their own menu. We have been coming here for years for their “concretes” which are just milkshakes. After we paid for them and sat there for 30 min waiting they finally brought us some weird miniature custard things and then argued with us when we told them that these WERE NOT concretes. A 2nd employee came over and told us she’s never heard of a concrete. What frustrates me the most, is that one of the employees said she’s been there for eight years and never once offered to help make the concrete. It’s literally on their menu. We will not be returning ever again

Had an issue with a delivery order, but the staff was very gracious about dealing with it and they usually have zero issues. The food is awesome every time! The food is still good, but I had another issue today and unfortunately the Hwy 55 website doesn't give the store staff the tools to refund missing items. The staff are really nice hard working people though.

Large drinks ($2.99 upcharge) were filled up to the top with ice. I took 3 sips and the cup was empty. I requested new cups, light ice. I got my new drinks, one had a gnat in it, and she touched my guests inner lid with her palm of her hand to spread covid. She threw our old drinks in the trash with force, in a ill mood. I tipped her $3 for our to-go order only because I understand how it is to have a bad day at work. But we will not be returning, and would not recommend.
