Monterrey Mexican Restaurant

Don't waste your time or money not Mexican food it's slop the service was horrible I was told that I don't know Mexican food when I was married to a Mexican And I've been to authentic Mexican restaurants here in South Carolina, this restaurant gives the Mexican heritage a bad name the waitress was a white person who had no idea what Mexican heritage is.

Food is good and we come for the deals on drafts at the bar. Tonight I was told that I was going to be charged extra for the slices of limes I have gotten my draft. Never have I ever heard anything like this before. I told our waitress that and she said they only come with Corona beers. This is crazy and I hope management reads this from what there employees are communicating to their loyal guest.

Very disappointed. Service was slow. Waitress was nice but didn't do well servicing. Ordered chimichangas and its the only place I personally have been to with a tomato salsa drenched on top that was not good. I took 3 bites and told them its not good (see pics). No 2nd recommendations or what else can I get you instead... then made me pay tor it! Ordered a small chorizo for $5.30, one chunk of chorizo in the entire thing (see pics). After a long week and was very hungry, this place did not do well at all. I wasted $20 hard earned dollars bc the beans were extra with the not good tomato salsa dripping on it.
