Poppington's Gourmet Popcorn

Absolutely one of my family's favorite places. Whenever we are downtown the kids (and us) want to go here. I'll admit that when I first heard about "gourmet popcorn" it made no sense to me, but after trying it the first time I understood. The sheer variety of flavors, and the way that they taste both true to what they should be (cherry actually tastes like cherry and not just the generic flavor that everyone has) and excellent makes them worth visiting. We also love the staff and the way they have always loved our kids and made them feel welcome.

By far the best gourmet popcorn in the upstate! Make sure you stop here when you're downtown! They always decorate their shop with fun decor the holidays and the owners so incredibly kind. Try the cheese flavor your will be blown away by how real it tastes. You can sample all the flavors and find your favorite. My bf and I stop in almost once a week, we are addicted!! and for those of you who think they are rude, they are absolutely not. the lady is very kind she is just a little quirky and is not "southern" like ppl are used to around here. She's very pleasant to talk to and get to know.

We recently used Poppington's for our 1950s themed Drive In event which was a fundraiser for our school. We purchased a bulk order of their Event Ready-to-go popcorn. The vintage and logo sticker sealed boxes were absolutely perfect for our event. They had our order boxed and ready to go. They were so easy to work with. We highly recommend their delicious popcorn to add that extra bit of fun to your event!

Popcorn was amazing…but, very disappointing experience. Weeks ago we ordered/paid for $177.00 of popcorn to pick up on a particular date at a particular time. When we arrived to pick up the popcorn there seemed to no knowledge of our order. Finally located the order in a basket in the back. We had to stand there while they made the popcorn.
