Vic's Pizza

The crust has good chew and is slightly crisp. Not at crisp as others but still good. The sauce was a little too herb forward for me and it seemed to drown out the tomato flavor I look for in my pizzas. There was a nice coverage of cheese. The toppings were quality as well. It has all the trappings of a good pizza I just wish the sauce could be tweaked just a bit.

First and foremost- just walk by and shove your snout in the door crack and you're gonna know what's up. It's like that place that all the locals know about and don't wanna share. Well, I'm gonna say it- go here!! You know how you want pizza and you want something that isn't all dough or so overloaded that you have to be prissy and eat it with a fork and knife? Go here, and order the meat lovers. It's perfect. Legit. Add some jalapeños and it'll add some kick. Also, the calzone- good lord have mercy. I ordered one with ricotta, mushrooms, sausage and pepperoni. It was heaven and huge! Erik and I couldn't even make a dent in both of them but we tried. While waiting for the order, I was talking to Kayla and John, the new owners, and they're tackling it. They took it over a couple of weeks ago and I really wish them well. I'll just be heading to this place from here on out. It's straight forward pizza. It's how it should be with good ingredients.

This is the best New York style pizza in the area. Just the right amount of cheese, sauce and garlic. The crust is perfectly crispy and does not flop all over the place. I have tried so many different New York style pizza places and the majority of them mask their problems by throwing excessive amounts of cheese or garlic on top. Lunch special is 2 cheese slices and a drink for 6.00 or 7.00 for two slices with 1 topping and a drink.

The pizza here is very average for 4.5 stars. I had really high hopes going into this place but it is not the type of pizza I would order again and again for takeout. It is definitely New York style but there's just not a lot of flavor in each bite... pretty bland. Try out Myles, Tony's, or D'Allesandros if you want excellent pizza.
