Runway Cafe

My review is for the event sode of the business. This place is a great spot to host a gathering. 100 people can easily fit in here and have room to move and dance. If not dancing you could probably pack another 50 in here. The facilities are simple, but clean. On nice days they can open the hanger door and watch the planes come and go. Food can be made onsite by the restaurant for your event. Alcohol service is also available. Its a one stop shop. Convenient to downtown and the freeway.

Great Party Venue!!! What a great venue with great food. We rented the hanger for my son's rehearsal brunch. The theme was Star Wars which fit in perfectly for an airplane hanger. Chris did an awesome job preparing the food and Debbie was a great bartender. This venue works great for a casual affair or could become a formal affair. Watching the planes was an added attraction. The day before the brunch my sister and I ate lunch. I have attached a photo of the wonderful food we had on Friday and photos of the venue. Thank you Chris and Debbie for making our event perfect!!!!!

Best food and view. Awesome experience. You can sit inside or outside, eat a lot or a little, watch planes or play on the playground. The food was great. The planes were great for conversation. Then the kids went to the playground afterwards. It may seem crowded, but these ladies have an amazing system of getting it done. It's worth the wait.

Our food the Top Gun burger delicious char grilled with plenty of flavor. The atmosphere was all about airplanes interesting pic and many models on display. Great place to take children and grand children. Mike the host made us feel welcome and I noticed he had a conservation with everyone. We will return.

Attended my 55th Greenville High School Reunion here and had a wonderful time! The food was served by a Food Truck and was delicious!( I cannot remember the name.) The weather was in our favour and was great. I saw so many of my great friends and I wouldn't have missed this event for anything! The Hangar at the Runway Cafe was a great place to have our event! We thank our Committee Members for planning such a great Event for all of us!

This might be one of Greenville's best kept secrets. The cafe sits right off the airfield with a view of the runway. You can hear the tower conversations while you eat. Very cool. I ordered the Soup and Salad (The Crandall). I had planned to also order a grilled cheese sandwich, but I was so taken in with the views of the airfield and the radio chatter that I completely forgot. It's probably a good thing I didn't, because the soup and salad alone were more than filling. The food was quite good. The salad tasted fresh and the components were crisp and the soup, a tomato bisque, was delicious. What pleased me the most was that the portion sizes were perfect; neither too much nor too little! The atmosphere here is very relaxed and it's adjacent to a small park with a playground and walking track, so it's very family friendly. If you're at all interested in aviation, especially small aircraft aviation, then you need to put this place on your "must visit" list. I plan to return soon.
