First time at Chez Genèse and the atmosphere and staff were really friendly, loved them! The food was good but there were some things that I didn’t like about them. I found that the French toast became soggy SUPER quick after just drizzling a small amount of syrup, so I suggest maybe dipping it if you don’t mind it getting soggy. The breakfast pizza was pretty good and other than that, the other dishes were alright. I wouldn’t mind coming back with friends every now and then for brunch.
Such a lovely restaurant! I had the eggs Benedict. It came with the best side of fruit. I also had orange juice and a cappuccino. The staff was great. The space is filled with plants and just beautiful! I will definitely be back.
C’est très délicieux!!!! Had an amazing breakfast with my family we ordered salmon on brioche and eggs Benedict looked amazing great taste. I absolutely loved their cappuccinos tasty with creamy foam and Dutch boy definitely to wait for it takes about 15 minutes but I think while I was eating breakfast the time has passed so fast. Fresh fruit plate is amazing with quite a variety of berries. Love sweet sour combo.

My hubby took me here on a brunch date. As a native of Haiti, he is immersed in the French cuisine! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was so good the smoked salmon was amazing the crêpes was amazing. The mimosas the potato pie was delicious! Don’t walk here… run!!
This is the most fantastic breakfast I have ever had. We were passing through for a weekend and ate here every morning. The staff is sensational, the food heavenly, and the coffee divine.
Would stack this against European fine dining.
Holy cow I fell in love with this place. I've never had a rosemary biscuit and it was amazing. I didn't even need to add salt to my eggs like I usually do because there was actually flavor. The amount of desserts they had. The service. The decor. I loved it. I want to go back and wish they had something like this in VA! Such a quaint place with delicious food.
Lovely little bistro, clean and service was prompt and friendly. Food tasted great, only I was expecting more authentic French menu items. I had, 'The quiche of the day', which was a deep dish style with a more dense crust, than the traditional French flacky crusts. My husband had salmon on toast, could use a little lemon and dill but overall, great dining venue, will be back.
