An excellent jewel of a dining experience in downtown Greensboro. The atmosphere is very inviting with the exposed brick and industrial look of the bar area. The craft beer and wine selection is very exceptional. The menu is seasonal which is a great thing to keep guests coming back. I had a craft burger 🍔 paired with a local craft beer 🍻. The burger was made with grass fed beef and local seasonal toppings. I had it cooked medium which was perfect 👌. The dessert menu while small served up some unique takes on traditional favorites such as the apple tart I had. 1618 is also great for a nice outing to socialize due to the comfy lounge seats by the window. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone new to Greensboro or locals for their next dining experience.
My coworker and I were just in town for business, and we googled restaurants in Downtown Greensboro. This place was one of the first to show on the list. We enjoyed the chorizo crab dip appetizer, and we split the pan seared salmon burger and the osyter po' boy. It was all fabulous! For dessert, we each had two Irish Coffees.. amazing! Not only was the food and drinks amazing, but the staff and the atmosphere did not disappoint either. We would absolutely come here again.
