Jennie’s is a delightful place to have a casual lunch or supper al fresco, located on the Main Road before you get to Greenport. The Tuna Banh Mi is possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever had.
Not your ordinary snack hut. A gem of a find. Dont drive by and if you do, pull a u-turn and head back. This place was delicious. It has your usual snack menu but it also has so much more. Grilled Shrimp flatbread, lobster rolls or Jennies Asian inspired menu items like fried shishito peppers, fried half chicken with honey and thai basil, Korean BBQ Ribs.....then there's my new favorite item. Duck fat fried yukon gold potatoes. So damn good.
Great spot to stop at on your way out east. Menu has been updated. Why but play a round of mini golf too? This place is associated with Ellen on Front in Greenport. Another spot on my list to get to.
Definitely the best fried chicken I’ve had on LI. Maybe anywhere. Great sweet potato fries. (With a large enough portion for leftovers of both). Great chicken sandwich (said my husband). And a small wonderful soft serve with rainbow sprinkles at the end. Perfection.
It was my first visit to Greenport and I loved our stop at Jennie's at Drossos, so much we had lunch there twice. The menu has something for everyone. A few standouts were the pickled peaches , the Thai basil fried chicken with a honey butter hot sauce and the vegetarian torta. The tater tots are so crispy and crunch and the Watermelon Gazpacho was cool and refreshing. Great little spot.
Market salad of the day was exceptionally delicious. Brimming with fresh greens, beautiful big pieces of grilled chicken, big chunks of fresh local watermelon. The salad was a real winner at a good price
The ice cream was awesome!! Soft serve in a waffle cone and Moosetracks in a regular cone. Can’t go wrong and highly recommend!
Surprisingly really good food for a mini golf place.
Love Jennie's. Fried chicken is delicious
Pork Bahn mi sandwich was delicious.
