Red Robin

I've been to this Red Robin a million times and always order off the kids menu as a 20yr old because I really just don't eat a lot. I asked for a kids menu and the lady didn't give me one since I'm not 12, which I get is rules but man I was shocked. I ordered what I wanted anyway and she allowed it with not unlimited refills, which is fine bc I didn't want a ton of food in the first place and didn't even finish my one serving. The atmosphere otherwise was fine, and the food was great like always.

I have tried to enjoy this place. But its hit or miss on the kitchen staff. Sometimes the burgers are made right others the meat is near raw. The management has come through many times on fixing or refunding the item. On a couple visits I've watched the employees sit on their phones while guest tried to get their attention. It's sad when a guest sees another guest having a bad experience. In the end I'm looking for a restaurant with good food and good customer service consistency. That keeps people coming back. I'd rather not roll the dice and hope for a good experience here.

My wife and I decided to stop in for early dinner. Restaurant had maybe a dozen patrons seated. Hostess sat us at a booth near the bar by the windows. The window blinds were a tattered mess. There was an 8 inch long fuzzy cob web dangling from the dirty blinds over our table. We asked to move. Waiter moved us to different booth. Ordered our food which came promptly. Just looking at the sunken fries I knew they were not hot. Both our orders of fries were only cool at the most. Had to summon waiter for different fries. Burgers were not much better.

The service was great, our waitress was very nice, all the employees work together very well and get your drinks and food out fairly quick. I'm giving 4 stars only because it wasn't busy at all and our food was messed up, I do know accidents happen, other than that outstanding service. The food was good I feel it use to be better though, not terrible but not what it once use to be.
