We've lived within 5 miles of State Line Restuarant for about 17 years and haven't had the opportunity to stop in. They primarily serve breakfast and lunch, no nightly dinners or cocktails. They have a great reputation in our local area for great breakfast food, unfortunately no one in our family of 6 was impressed. Meals were all delivered at separate times, waitress spilled a beverage on my son with no apologies. Food was average. No interest in returning.

The atmosphere is NOT why this place is always packed. The food and the pricing were both really good. It's a little out of our way, but we will stop in again.

Inexpensive and large portions! This is a small no frills diner but the food is pretty good. We had the Hungryman breakfast special and neither of us could finish our meals. For $9.50, you can't beat it.

Great gravy. Tried it for the first time. My favorite is still the corned beef hash. They also have the goetta, but not very many places carry the hash. If you love medium over-easy eggs, they always get it right. So busy it was hard to get refills from the young girl who was cleaning tables and seemed overwhelmed doing more than one job as she pointed out to us.
