West Winds Restaurant

I had ordered breakfast to go since my family and I were staying at the KOA and just passing through. Their breakfast was fantastic, pancakes were hot and fluffy. The french toast and eggs were very delicious and their sausage was good too. They thought of everything and included utensil, sugar, creamer, salt, pepper, maple LOTS of syrup, and whipped butter.

Our server was sweet and funny. A sense of humor is greatly appreciated by me. Our orders were correct and the food was great. My only complaint is the sausage was a little greasy, but it still tasted great. The restaurant has all kinds of interesting artifacts to look at. We enjoyed our visit here. If you are a trucker, let them know.

I was craving for some nice NY stake. I had dinner at this place before. Wasn't disappointed with the service. This time it was different, 2 young ladies in charge of the whole restaurant. Not wearing masks. (I don't know the county/ city rules for mask tho) I immediately was ready for my order, plus I have to drive up to Salt Lake city that night. It took them 45 minutes to give it to me. When it was served the steak was cold. The waiter was just chit chatting with the cashier there was nobody else waiting for their food. Other than a group of 3 people got there 20 after me. When I took my first bite I've asked them to heat up the meat. Went she took the plate inside someone laughed real hard inside the kitchen. The food was great. She never bothered asking me if I needed anything else. I also noticed they were sneezing and coughing. A person sat down asked for a drink. I couldn't help to notice but drink was being taken to him and she sneezed right on it. The guy noticed and decided to make a joke or something. I just leave this comment out here. I hope this comment helps them improve, believe me I really do I like stopping here all the time. They have a super nice Pilot, Parking for trucks is the best any time.

If you are passing by, staying in or stuck in (like we are) Green River give this place a try. Breakfast is great and the coffee good. I hear it’ll be torn down and replaced by a Wendy’s which is a shame With a little sprucing up to make it more attractive to passerbyers I think it would have a chance of staying in business

First off, the server was wonderful- so sweet, polite and very apologetic for our wait time. We got there around the same time as several other diners, and we ordered right away but then had to wait nearly an hour for our food. And the food was awful. I had a French dip and my partner had a philly, on both the roast beef was cut way too thick and it was so tough it was hard to take a bite out of the sandwich. The fries were pretty good. And the nice waitress took 10•/• off our check since we had to wait so long. I would not go back tho.

The food was amazing and fair prices. The service was a different story. We were immediately seated because there were no others at tables just at the bar. We sat for a long time feeling like we were forgotten so we had to go to the bar area to let the waitress know we were ready to order. I understand that employees are always in demand so I am usually very patient. When my order was served I didn't get the onion rings that I ordered but I did get French fries that were very good but I would have preferred getting what I ordered. Maybe they were out of onion rings they didn't say. I heard the waitress call for onion rings and didn't hear anything more about them. When we paid we had to remind them to remove the onion rings or we would have paid for them. If I do return to eat here I will remind them of my experience so it doesn't happen again. I ordered the Chilli burger and it was amazing so I would definitely come back.

When reading reviews thought it would be a good place to try. We must have caught them on an off day. My daughter had pancakes eggs and sausage. Pancakes and sausage were good but the eggs were drenched in butter as were mine with my chicken fried steak which was possibly the worst thing I have ever been served at any restaurant! I drive truck over the road so that is really saying alot. On the plus side their sausage gravy was good as were the hash browns. By the way the dog wouldn't even eat the chicken fried steak.
