Capital Craft

Today I tried the Brunch at Capital Craft and I feel it was a great bang for my buck! I ordered the popcorn chicken & waffle bites, my friend ordered the steak & eggs. While we were happy with our orders, my friend was a tad bit irritated with her order because she ordered her steak medium well & eggs over easy, both were prepared well. The thing is although the food was good, when you specify how you want your egg or steak, that’s how you should get it. We tend not to complain when it comes to our food, we just deal with it as long as it edible. Other than that, it was a good dining experience, our server was tentative & in spite of that we will give it another try. This is a great local spot & the Mimosa’s & Bellini’s were on point!

Ate here with my family last night for the first time. We all had a good time and enjoyed our food. We walked in and was seated immediately (4 of us). The waitress was super friendly and talkative, checking in several times for drink orders and then food. They have a wide selection of beer and cocktails, I was hoping for a warm cocktail but didn't see any so I skipped a drink while the rest of my family got a variety of craft beers. We all ordered different food options and everyone enjoyed theirs (CC Burger, Asian Tacos, Red wine ribs, and crab crushed salmon). It came out and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of my serving, as was everyone else. I had a big portion of salmon, im guessing 8-10 oz where I generally I only see 4-6 oz. The sides were also not tiny. The Asian Tacos had a large amount of rib meat and a little coleslaw and carrot relish, its typically the other way around. For the amount of food I thought it was a good value and highly appreciated the size offerings. Everyone else also enjoyed their food, for example I don't eat ribs but was surprised when my husband offered me some of his, I'd consider ordering it next time. I think we spent around $120 for 4 people for food and drinks so about $30 a person. We had a good time and no complaints, good food and quick/attentive service.

Went during happy hour for drinks and appetizers. Happy hour is LONG (!!!), but since we went on a Friday the bar seats were filled. We were still able to get the deals seated at a normal table. They have a menu with half priced appetizers and drinks. We got the nachos, pretzel bites, and chicken poppers. The food was decent for happy hour. Our only complaint was the nachos...they were not too loaded and were on the specials menu but were still $10 which we didn't realize until the bill came out. Overall this place has a lot of beer on tap, but sometimes they run out quickly.

I wanted to love this because of the amazing menu but my overall experience was mediocre. We visited for a Sun brunch. The service was a little slow where I felt they needed an additional server or two but we were patient as always. I was amazed at the menu as I honestly couldn't choose but unfortunately the food was just average. Drink specials were reasonably priced which made the overall experience a good one. I'd likely go back based on the other reviews as I'm curious if it was simply an off day.

Food was really good. Better than expected, as I walked in expecting just standard bar food. Amazing selection of beer and drinks. If you're a fan of sour beers, they have more than a few of those here as well. Something you rarely see at these kinds of places. Service was excellent. Place is kinda small, and some tables would make you feel like you're squeezed into a high traffic area. I opted to sit at the bar instead.

Have to agree with Carlo’s review. My husband and I like to come here (Greenbrook)and sit at the bar. We think the food is great and the beer selection and drink selection are great. We usually come for happy hour. Sometimes we have a very nice time, but other times we have been annoyed. It doesn’t even have to be busy and there is this one bartender in particular who just doesn’t care and is extremely slow. We have actually agreed that if we see him when we walk in, we are leaving next time. We are always frustrated when he is there.
