I'd read of some reviews of Gino's online whilst looking for somewhere to have pizza - so I thought I would give it a try! Boy I was glad for that decision! The pizza was excellent, a nice thin and crispy base, and was flavourful, I really enjoyed my 3 slices, beware the slices are generously sized It was a great place and evening to watch fellow customers and the staff do their think! Well worth a visit!

Gino's has been a staple of Great Neck culture for generations, a hit spot for pizza and other classic Italian dishes with a traditional New York pizzeria atmosphere. Your nose instantly perks from the zesty scents beyond the door, which you open to busy folks making different types of pizzas in multiple pan ovens behind a glass display of what's been prepared so far for the day. Beyond that is a where you can be seated at intimate tables or traditional booths where you can have a cozy meal. I have been coming to this place from since I was 9 years old with my folks, to high school years with friends, to just the other day, currently in my 30's. I was tired from picking up things and wanted a nostalgic dinner to myself. What is amazing is I saw people of all ages still dining here and everyone working here is always so welcoming, casual and nice to their customers. I didn't get anything fancy but I will admit I definitely treated myself! I enjoyed myself, catching my breath, reflecting and truly being present with hot, delicious slices of extra cheese pizza and bubbly, crisp root beer. I left with a full stomach and a smile as I said goodbye to a place full of fond memories I hope I can see again soon!

This place is so good. We were visiting USMMA and tried this place out. Crust, sauce, and cheese was all excellent. Tried 3 places in Brooklyn yesterday: L&B's, Luigi's, and DiFara's. Honestly thought this place was better than all of them. Squares had perfect crust and edges. Plain was perfect. Lots of other options to please everyone 8n the family. We will be back.

What's not to love. Been going here for over 40 years. Best pizza around. Stuffed meat was delicious and is always a winner.

Seriously… the best pizza and service on the planet. Every time we’re in Great Neck, we eat at Gino’s. Do yourself a favor and check them out. Take the LIRR in if you have to. Love it!!

When Kraemer got lost in downtown Manhattan, he calls Jerry for help and they determine he is at the intersection of 1st and 1st, "the nexus of the universe!" And what is it at the nexus of everything that catches Kraemer's eye and gives him a modicum of comfort? An Original Ray's pizza shop. At the intersection of Middle Neck Road and Grace Avenue, Gino's is located at the nexus of Great Neck. More accurate, though, might be to say Gino's IS the nexus of Great Neck. The food is always exactly what you wanted it to be. The counter and wait staff are so easy-going and familiar, they remind you of your aunts and uncles - the fun ones, at least, the ones you like. (Miss you, Uncle Jimmy). There is nothing good or bad to say of the decor or ambiance. Tight but functional, it's much like Shea Stadium, you'll miss it when it's gone. (Which hopefully, unlike Shea Stadium, is a day that will never come). Gino's is a can't miss. And remember, Friday is ALWAYS pizza night. And save room for Italian ices! Oh, and the grilled chicken roll is amaaa-zing! (So is the regular chicken roll). Oh, and you gotta get garlic knots! Muah! 😘 I can't believe I almost forgot the Gino's Salad. The. Best. Salad slice... Sicilian pie... penne alla vodka... penne alla vodka pizza... chicken parm... chicken parm hero...

High standard for food, but staff seemed pretty disorganized. I think we had 4 different people attend to us and most of them didn't seem to know what was going on. Made the service very slow.

This is an example of money well spent. The basic Cheese Pue is $17.50+ and it's totally worth it. Now feel free ti explore because the dinners are great and in my case I am a big fan of the Chicken Parmesan hero with pepperoni. The location is on the corner and be careful there are two 9ther pizzerias on that side of the road very close on same block so avoid them they are very inferior and don't blame me if you get them by mistake.
