Chopstix

I had been on the hunt for an American Chinese restaurant near Reston that was comparable to Jasmine Garden in Falls Church, which sadly closed permanently sometime early this year 😭 With the weather turning chillier, I found myself craving decent Am. Chinese, and remembered a flyer I got for Chopstix a couple weeks back. I figured, what the heck? Their kung pao tofu is AWESOME - as is their eggplant in garlic sauce, and on par with JG. No watery sauce or excess sugar/salt like I’ve experienced at so many Chinese takeout places. I have a very high standard, to the point of unreasonableness, about my kung pao tofu. Not only this, but in my delivery order I originally ended up with broccoli in garlic sauce, not the eggplant I ordered. I hesitated at first about calling the restaurant, thinking it’d be an ordeal. Not at all. The person answering the phone was friendly, caring and got the mixup taken care of, no questions asked. The replacement eggplant arrived within about 20 minutes of my call! This level of care towards customers seems to not always be the norm these last few years, so it absolutely bears calling out. I only wish I had ordered more! This will become at least a biweekly tradition in our house. 💯 “11/10 stars, would recommend!”

First time to order at this place. We called and it was ready in 5 minutes!! We tried their “Triple delight” which included beef, chicken and shrimp with some veggies The dinner meal was enough for two people to share depending on how hungry you are. Beef was nice and tender and so were the chicken strips. They mentioned that the shrimp was jumbo - and yes, it had JUMBO shrimps. We’ll try their other dishes next time.

I ordered online with the Google Maps app. Delivery service was timely and the food was hot. Also liked getting the convenient containers of rice. The food was tasty, especially the Penang Chicken curry (in the tall container), the containers were full and the food was tasty. Pictured here is Chinese bok choy, Taiwan noodles, Thai Basil Beef and Penang Chicken curry. I grew up on Chinese food and love variations of Asian food! My husband and I enjoyed this meal and had leftovers for a couple more days. I'll be ordering from them again for the variation in flavors, convenience, service and value.

I consider this place a great find indeed for delicious Chinese food. I am very picky when it comes to Chinese food and this restaurant checks all of the boxes on my list: Fresh, Fast, Flavorful, Filling. I've visited this establishment a few times and I've been pleased with my order every time. They have variety of entrees and sides, which keep me coming back to try different dishes. Pictured for this visit are the Sesame Chicken, Scallion Cakes and Fried Rice with Extra Egg. I also ordered Wonton Soup, which is not in the photo. I am a huge fan of their Wonton Soup and Egg Drop Soup from my previous visits. This place is a winner in my book. Absolutely scrumptious!

Amazing, best Chinese food in the area hands down. It has its own style and taste. They also have quality customer service. Everything is really fresh, which makes even eating small things like the peppers extremely enjoyable. The price is fair and im excited to go back to try out the rest of the menu!
