We were just passing through and wanted a Bloody Mary. Delicious!! Right on the river with a great outdoor space that we can't wait to stop at and eat. Menu looked great. Fun atmosphere!!
We were a large group (15) on a busy day and we given immediate and constant attention. The food was excellent and everyone was so friendly! Totally recommend Lovells.

Haven't been there since I was in the U.S.A.R in the 90s and it was great for the lunch break and watch the river. Oh yeah the canoe is still up the tree!
Very nice very small town Bar and Grill. Excellent Friday night fish and chips. Some pretty non standard bar food, nightly specials. Super friendly staff. Make sure you check out the canoes in the tree behind the bar. Small patio seating area alongside the North Branch of the Ausable River

I stop whenever I'm in the area! Heather, the ubiquitous bartender, hostess, server, electrician, plumber🤣, and everything else is awesome! Down home place as comfortable as your favorite jeans!!😆

Place is great, Heather was an amazing bartender. Cozy up north feel, river patio is awesome.
Fried mushrooms were greasy and delicious served with ranch dressing for dipping. I ordered an olive burger which was cooked perfectly. It was juicy but no blood. The bun was grilled so it had a crisp edge but was soft and moist on the other side. My basket came with tangy Cole slaw in a plastic souffle cup. This was a man's bar but the staff made it ok to be the only women in the place.
Local bar with good service and solid food, a country bar. The entrance door handle, a re-purposed recurve bow, sets the mood perfectly.
