Hong Kong Restaurant

This is one the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to in the area. We went there with my wife and my son for dinner, everything we tried was excellent. Service was efficient and cordial, the decor is pleasant and sober. Avoid peek times if you are not patient at all cause it will take some time to be seat it.

Our first visit was fun. The food was great and plentiful, even though one reviewer said the portions were small. Kim, our server, was fantastic and we will see her again! The one criticism I have is that the tables out of service for COVID spacing had a thick layer of dust on them. All in all, though, lots of good food at fair prices. Try it!

Busy on a Sunday. We waited at least 15 minutes. Short staffed as many places are these days. We went "dutch" with friends, their favorite Chinese food. Honestly I'm addicted to Panda Express so my taste buds are biased. The food was a little bland for my taste. $38 before tip for 2 people. Staff was nice, everyone working very hard, very busy.

Waited 30 mins to be seated. After we were seated another family was sat next to us and had their drink order and food order taken before us. Had their soup taken away after they were done before we were even attended to. Was getting my purse to leave and the lady finally came to get our food order never even asked what we wanted to drink. Had to ask for soda. People who came in way after us were already done eating their food before we ever seen ours. Mar far sauce that was on 4 different tables were all bad. We asked for new sauce for the 4 tables and it never came. Finally after a hour plus when my bf came back and seen other ppl finishing their food. We just left. Horrible service

Look , we did not expect to be blown away by a Chinese restaurant in Grants Pass, OR. It’s beautiful here, but it’s not a culinary Mecca. This place , I’ve literally had ten times better Chinese food from a Safeway deli. The food being mediocre to bad is one thing.. the price for this food was insane! $33.99 for one small combination & some store bought bbq pork ( and disgusting house made “sauce”) ! It’s completely ridiculous. Then, the service ( we placed a to-go Order) was terrible , as well . Just an S-show @ the cash register. Zero chance we’ll ever stop here again. I suggest y’all do the same; just sayin .

Returned after many years to try again... Wasn't too impressed. Portions are good service was fine but did take awhile to get seated (one employee was at front desk doing phone orders, to go orders, cashing out other patrons, and seating people) but we were patient. The food - Sweet and Sour Chicken was good, Fried Rice was good but an up charge on my meal plus you get charged for additional empty plates, crazy?? Finally my Szechuan Chicken well, It was wierd... Nothing how i've ever had and a solid pass for ordering again. The sauce tasted like a spicy ketchup with a hint of buffalo sauce IDK what was in it but I prefer the flavor from China Hut up the street. Not sure we will return.
