This is a small family diner that has a great atmosphere, great food and excellent service. My teenage kids love Petris. My daughter gets egg salad and my son loves the cheeseburgers. They have daily specials. Home cooked food and desserts are wonderful! Love this place!!!!

Petri Cafe is the best for breakfast! Fast and very professional and family like setting. They are like one big family and accepts everyone. Always full of smiles and they want to get to know you! Very inexpensive.. Tastes great as well!

Outstanding little family owned Cafe in downtown Granite City. This place is not only nostalgic, it is a great example of what a family owned Cafe should be. Friendly, cooked to order, and the food is like mom used to make! I love the place!

Excellent service and food. The prices are awesome too! I will definitely be going back soon for their sausage gravy and biscuits! But it's only served on Thursday and they only do cash only. They have no credit or debt card machines.

I ordered the fried fish dinner platter and the fish portion was large. Three large pieces, navy beans and a salad w/blue cheese. Delicious! The place is a jewel and reminds me of my mom. 😉👍

This is my Cheers. The staff is always friendly and greet most customers by name. I recommend their Hungarian Cabbage Soup, fried fish on Friday and when available Bens Bread Pudding.
