El Portillo is our new favorite Mexican restaurant!!! We just moved to the area and love Mexican food. We stop here once a week and try something different each time. They do not disappoint. The meals are tasty, the staff is great and the decor is very festive. Highly recommend if you are passing through, live on the beach or live on the mainland! ¡Muchos Gracias!

Wish I could do 4.5 stars but doesn't have that option. Some of the best Mexican food I've tried. Definitely worth going and the drink menu is awesome. Full size bar as well.

Very good food. The service was outstanding and quick. They let us sit and visit which was very nice . It was a gathering of family from out of state and from VA & N.C. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We got two TO-GO entrées and chips and salsa. We bought extra salsa. They forgot to bag it , and the TO GO person gave us two salsas and two cheese sauce and apologized. That was super nice of him. Food was hot and yummy! We will be back

First I'll start by saying i dont know how much the drinks were, seeing as my boyfriend didn't let me see the bill. They were delicious though! The food was very good and the service was great! It was our first visit here and I will definitely go back. We were seated in a booth, however, they had a nice looking bar as well. They close at 10pm on the night we went, which was a Friday. I really had a good "first" date at this restaurant. Lol Also, I will add that the restroom was clean which is always a plus. One last thing that I thought was nice was the bench outside, seeing as I am a smoker on occasion. I really enjoyed my drinks and my meal at this local establishment. As always, I'm happy to support our local businesses. Thank you!
