Fresh food, tasty, and large portions! Service was good too. Only complaint was that the "hot" item we ordered wasn't very spicy; although the flavor was good.
Great affordable Chinese food. Started lunch with the hot and sour soup. I love hot and sour soup, but this was the best that I had ever had. General chicken was fried crispy and the sauce was very flavorful. Soup, entree, egg roll, wonton, and hot tea all for $8 = great lunch!
Very good experience. Took my son to dinner and got fast courtious service and both our meals were very good. The hot and sour soup may be the best in town. We each took home enough food for another meal.
Great food plenty of it too. I overheard other customers commenting too in this being the best Chibese food in the area. I had Kung Po Chicken extra spicy and it was very good.
Consistently Great. Not only very tasty - but the entire family has been so nice to me for 8 straight years. The food is exactly the same as it always has been - great. People complain about the prices - in Grandville! Go eat some nasty buffet or crappy $5 pizza if you dont want quality. Favorites are Combination Lo Mein, Steamed Dumplings, Fried Rice, Wanton Soup. Contrary to other comments - the portions are BIG. Give them a try!
Yummy!. Great service, great food. This is our first choice in chinese food. Their menu is huge, and the chicken is always all white meat, not that "what am I eating?" stuff that a lot of other places have. Never been disappointed with this place.
Great Food at Great Prices. This restaurant is owned by a member of the family that also owns First Wok and Golden Wok. Same GREAT quality as we have experienced at the other family restaurants. You have GOT to try their hot and sour soup. It is a family recipe and it is better than any other other chinese restaurant!!! Waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and he was able to give suggestions based on what we said we liked.
Best. Magic Wan is the BEST Chinese restaurant in Grandville! I work at a local nursing home and they are so generous and will do anything to make our trips easier. I would recommended Magic Wan to anyone who loves Chinese.
The only thing I've ever had here is shrimp fried rice (and crab cheese), and it's the best shrimp fried rice I've ever had - haven't had any desire to try something else. It's seasoned just enough that I don't have to stir in my own soy sauce but not so much that it's too salty - it's always fresh and there is a generous amount of shrimp.
I usually get take out but have eaten in a few times and the service is always great.
General chicken with white meat was fantastic, lightly breaded and fried, no heavy thick breading. Egg roll was fat and delicious, and the wait staff checked on us frequently. Egg drop soup was great too. 10/10 recommend
Best quality Chinese food I've had in a LONG time. Since we moved to the Grand Rapids area, we've been disappointed with the Chinese options.
The service was great, the food was high quality (all white meat chicken!), and the restaurant seemed very clean - which is saying something in this industry.

Been going here for years now, great food and service, very clean also which is important for me when choosing a restaurant. Portions are more than enough for the price. I've tried several other joints in the area, but this one keeps me coming back.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in grand rapids. If there is better in the area I have yet to find it. Service is just as good as the food.
I've only ever ordered take-out and it is always ready within 10-15 minutes. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is top notch!
