Great Bar with Great Specials nothing like the holiday back in the day
I met the owner at an event and he’s a real stand up guy. I’ve visited this bar twice with coworkers and have ordered takeout a handful of times (I live 8 minutes away). In both instances, I was impressed by the atmosphere and quality of food. The Ruben and French dip are highly recommended from this foodie!
This place is worth checking out! We ordered the Cowboy Burger and the French Dip and both were delicious! We had this delivered and the service was prompt and everything tasted as fresh as being in the restaurant. The packaging of the to-go boxes played a role into how well the food stayed table-ready. I highly recommend stopping in to support this west side (the best side) establishment. Enjoy! Happy eating!
Expresso martini, Polish eggrolls, French onion soup, & a Ruben sandwich.... Yum with s striple side of yum! Oh, and a show from a fast driver & GR City Police. Poor tree...
The restaurant we planned on going to for a Sunday night dinner was closed, so we decided on The Holiday Bar since it was open and my friend said it is a good place. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The mood at that time was mellow, with sports on the TVs and a musician playing in the back part of the restaurant. Service was quick and they checked on us frequently without overdoing it. I had the shepherd's pie which was really tasty, with plenty of meat and flavour. It wasn't large but it filled me up well enough that I got my money's worth. My friend enjoyed her quesadilla dish. I really, really enjoyed this place and plan on returning again soon.

This is my meet up spot in GR, their polish food is so good and their staff is amazing I would always recommend this place. Plus on the weekend after the kitchen closes it feels like a club around 10:30pm when the DJ shows up
The Holiday is family-owned; we were greeted by Todd, served by Tara who was really friendly and attentive. The bar is well-maintained; it's been remodeled since I was here last. They have a 40-foot horseshoe bar and a patio/bier garden in back. Queso Burger: spicy queso dip, jalapeños, queso fresco, tomato, cilantro & shredded lettuce. Outstanding! The beef is a custom blend, freshly-ground, and you can tell it's high quality. I can highly recommend The Holiday!
I had a great experience at the holiday bar! The food and staff are wonderful! The patio bar outside is beautiful! The bartender Lauren, is extremely nice and great at her job! She is super friendly and easy to talk to.

Visited during the world famous Pulaski days and The Holiday Bar was a great stop. Polish egg rolls were amazing!! Awesome atmosphere and welcoming staff. Will definitely go back.
