The food at Rincon is amazing! Brings me straight back to home with my husbands grandma. Amazing taste, perfect rice! It is a little pricey but its not that bad considering everything you get with your meal. Love it! And no Olgas Kitchen is not better lol.
Absolutely incredible!! The guy who runs the place,Brian, is so friendly! The food was delicious and the portions were HUGE! Loved it and completely recommend :)
Delicious food and great service. Family owned. No worries if you are not familiar with the food. The owners are very helpful and generous. We love to go with the whole family and share large platters. So good!

Scouting for restaurants we haven't written up, we came across this one south on Grandville Avenue. As we got close, we started to recall being here before some years ago and when we walked in, we were sure of it. At that time we took a look around, no one was there, employees or customers, the buffet looked closed, and we walked out. Today we stayed and were glad we did. The small space holds about 8 tables for 4, and again, there were no customers there but we were eating a very late lunch. Three employees were on hand, however, and we were immediately greeted by a server to take our beverage orders (it's bottled water or cans of soda). Music was blaring so loud when we walked in we knew we had to say something. But before we could, our server turned it down. That server was replaced with another who brought us our menus and was incredibly friendly and informative. He let us take our time and had helpful suggestions. The buffet was available but we tend to avoid buffets. Ordering off
Fantastic food and tasty smoothies!
We had a spread of tostones, a Cuban sandwich, stewed goat, pork belly and Puerto Rican rice; everything was great.
The avocado and passion fruit smoothies are also worth trying.
Food was great!! The Cuban sandwich was amazing!
Goat stew 💣!
Pork Belly 🐖🔥!
Smoothies were wonderful🧉🧋!
Parking lot can be a nightmare though.
1st time eating this 🇵🇷 food. The food was decent. Even though the carne was a bit salty for my taste. The staff was nice. The place was clean. Thank you, Rincon Criollo staff. This Army veteran is nice and full. Yessss that's jalapeños and tortillas in the picture, had to add my swag to it, topped with sour cream.
We were so excited to find a place that serves real Caribbean food in GR! The owners are Dominican & we just came back from the DR last month. Delicious, fresh food! The empanadas were very flavorful (beef, chicken, and a delicious dessert one of guava and creamy cheese). The pork & chicken were fantastic, the habichuelas were so tasty. The tostones! Yum. We shared a super-sweet passion fruit juice & water. We ended up full and satisfied, with new friends. We came later in the evening (so some of the pictures are after they were done with the food for the night), but look forward to bringing our family. Will update pictures soon.
Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent 👌. I'm definitely going back!
I absolutely love this place! I've been going there for years. Never fail, their empanadas are amazing and they offer so many other delicious options!
The food is really good there I like their goat and I like their potato balls they have really tasty empanadas and really friendly service the women back there are really nice they smile at you and treat you well when you come in they have really fast friendly service there's some other things on the menu that I want to try and then I'll really give you guys to review on those I usually get the stewed beef or the stewed goat and the rice they give you a lot of rice so you never have to worry about that and the prices aren't bad at all really it's really good comfort food at a really good price I usually go there for lunch to go before work

I ordered the shredded pork with mashed plantains with fried cheese topped with red onions. It was delicious. The plantain was nice and silky. The pork was great not too greasy. The meal didn't feel heavy at all. Will definitely be back.
We went as a family and we shared a little bit of everything. We started the meal with some tostones with chicken and empanadillas with guava and cheese. For the main entree I had the mofongo with shrimp and a side of Plantanos and it was so delicious. My wife ordered the Cubano sandwich and that too was very good. We will most definitely be coming back and we live over an hour away.
Tucked away on the city's Southwest side is a great slice of Caribbean food. I am not kidding when I say everything I had including two appetizers and splitting two different dishes with a friend was fabulous.
