The flavor of Indian Masala is excellent with top quality ingredients and good service. It's truly filling the gap of a unique flavor on the SE side of town near enough to the malls without the trap of the Beltline. Although I would've expected some naan with our lunch buffet, the choices and flavors were excellent!
So happy to have this restaurant in Grand Rapids. Today was the second time dining here with my wife, and we can easily say this is the best Indian restaurant in the area. Everything is top notch. Portion sizes are great for the price, you can easily share one dish between two people. Flavors are all spot on for what we ordered, which was Butter Chicken and Lamb Curry, and the Onion Pakora appetizer was perfection. We can't wait to come back and do the buffet! Oh yeah, the service is impeccable, too!
One of the best Chicken Tikka Masala dishes in the USA; at least compared to Chicago, Ohio, Indiana, Florida, other parts of Michigan. The rice is uniquely fluffy like mozzarella or coconut shavings. The sauce is creamy and prepared at the perfect spice level and flavor. Portion is big enough for 2 adults. Plain naan was a balance of chewy and crispy tenderness. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The flavor of the food can only be topped by the friendly staff. We love Indian food and are always willing to try new dishes here. The love for country and customs is evident in the flavor of the dishes. I haven't tried anything that I have not loved. My favorite dish is the butter chicken with medium level hotness. I always ask them to add onions and bell peppers to my dish and it's perfect. I recommend you dine in for the experience of the ambience, but I usually do take out, weekly! Thank you guys!
I had the chicken curry and was amazed at the flavor! Huge portion sizes (leftovers for later! 🙈) for an unbeatable price. Highly recommend you check this place out for yourself!
Great restaurant! $11.99 for buffet as of Feb 16 2019 is not too bad! Decent variety of Indian cuisine. They have vegetarian and vegan options too and the great thing is that everything was labeled! The butter chicken curry was delicious including other things in the menu. I definitely recommend.
Had the lunch buffet. Excellent selection of both vegetarian selections and meat selections. Each selection was very flavorful and made with love. Wish the iced tea was fresh brewed non brisk tea, but that is just a preference for me. Great staff that was attentive and friendly. Pleasant experience overall and one of the better Indian Buffets I been to nationwide for quality and flavor. Next time I am in town, I will return for sure.
Came here during my short trip to Grand Rapids and have to admit that the food was more than delicious and service was awesome. It’s an open kitchen restaurant and very clean. The bathroom was clean as well. It has highchair for kids and the staff was very friendly to the kids. A must visit whether you are living in MI or visiting.

First time trying this restaurant tonight and we are so impressed! Food is delicious and the online ordering system on the website is fabulous (and not the norm). We tried quite a few things and they were all splendid. Great portion sizes for the price. We will definitely be back!
We're just passing through for one night but we wish we could pack up this restaurant and take it home with us, it was a whole cut above any of the Indian restaurants back home. We highly recommend it!
Amazing place, service is great, food is amazing, but I do wish they had a lunch buffet.
