This was our 4th. year going to the 4th of July deck party. You guys really know how to put on a top notch. The food is excellent taste and the way you set it up. Your server’s are on top of it. They don’t pressure you . The music was great. The fireworks are amazing to watch from your couches on the deck. We will be back. Thank you and your great staff for a great night.
Calling all pizza lovers!! WG's stone oven pizza is the absolute best! You won't leave disappointed no matter which one you try! The goat cheese will melt in your mouth! Cheers!
So, we checked out this fancy restaurant, you know, the kind where prices are sky-high and everyone seems to have deep pockets. The food was alright, but honestly, not worth the hefty price tag. The real star of the show? Those amazing crab cakes we had as starters! Our waitress was super friendly and helped us navigate the menu like a pro. She was quick with our orders and kept checking in on us. Honestly, if I had a bit more cash to spare or if the food didn't cost an arm and a leg, I'd totally consider coming back. But, well, reality check – it's a one-time thing for us.
Great Atmosphere. Stopped in for drinks and appetizers before going g to the International Wine, Beer, and Festival. Made reservations with my husband, and they almost didn't seat us. We booked through Open Table and apparently the hostess told us that they dropped our reservation since as they have a hard drop policy for reservations on weekends. Our reservation was at 4:45. We were in line waiting on hostess to come seat us. It was literally 4:46pm and plenty of tables. They were going g to find us a high top for 2 at the entrance where it's noisy. Thank goodness my husband was persistent and they gave us the table we booked in a quiet area. We've dined here a lot and go to other dinner events here so maybe just the hostess having an issue, arriving at the time to be seated shouldn't equal cancelation.
This is one of our favorite spots, whether you want a nicer/fancier meal, or burger & fries, they have something for everyone. We joined yesterday for the “Big Bottle Dinner” Event, and it was lovely. Nicole, Ryan, & Garrett were there to make it a special evening from the very start. I mentioned we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and they brought out a DELICIOUS dessert plate, with “happy birthday” written in chocolate, and a candle for wishes. It was so kind, and so appreciated by our group. We will come back to this restaurant every time - highly recommend you visit!
Carmen was our waitress she did a great job. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. The was our 5th meal of the day so we only got a dessert and the waygu burger both were soo good and really juicy. The fries are really crispy and salty they were addictive. The place is open later than most in town and is in the Grand Amway hotel downtown
Located inside the Amway Grand Plaza and 100% worth the visit! Food was amongst the top 5 best dishes I've ever enjoyed! Staff was also pleasant and customer visable areas of the kitchen & pizza station was very clean and sanitary. Excellent birthday dinner with my daughter!
Had a mostly positive experience at The Kitchen tonight.
Most of the food was excellent. The Weiner Schnitzel isn't quite traditional, but the crisp is perfection. The "potato salad" on the side is just potato slices, so that was a bit disappointing.
The duck is one of the best we've had, so no regrets there for sure.
The atmosphere is upscale without being snobby, and everything was clean.
A note to Open Table rewards members - despite Open Table listing The Kitchen as a rewards accepting establishment, they will NOT accept Open Table rewards cards.
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner here! The smoked sturgeon was delicious, and the desserts were such a treat. Beautiful view by the river and the service was impeccable.
Carmen (I think that was her name) was an excellent waitress, advising us well on the portions sizes (the portions were so large that we ordered half sizes on certain items) and making recommendations. Super personable. She also asked us if we were seeing the Tina Tuner Broadway show to ensure our food was prepared quickly enough to leave on time. I had the meatloaf and an old fashioned. My husband had the schnitzel. The meals were excellent. It’s a very attractive multi-level restaurant with a non-cookie-cutter floor plan that was conveniently located in our hotel.
