The Old Goat - Grand Rapids - Photo album

Some of the best service I've received in a long time! Michael guided us through the menu, helped make selections & offered suggestions on wine pairings. He was everything an excellent server should be. Food was delicious & live music was even better! Keep up the good work!
The Old Goat is off the beaten path (meaning not downtown 😉), yet very easily accessible and quaint. They have plenty of offstreet parking behind the building. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. I loved the Live Entertainment, which consisted of musicians playing an upright bass, pian
I was disappointed just because I had high expectations for this place after reading other reviews. We got the deviled eggs with three eggs for $10 the cauliflower appetizer and brussel sprouts appetizer. They were ok but nothing special. I got the rueben after seeing it raved about on someone els
I came to Michigan for the first time ever. My friend highly recommended this restaurant to me, and i am an ohio resident. I came to this restaurant and to my surprise the establishment is wonderful. It has beautiful music and wonderful good food. The service here is very professional and peaceful.
The atmosphere is so laid back. It is a great place to unwind. The staff were very friendly. The food is amazing!
Fantastic!! Possibly the best Rueben Sandwich I've ever had... and I am a bit of a Rueben aficionado. Cool atmosphere and great service.
Nice little place with cool and quirky decor! Good menu selection including a good beer menu. ADA friendly! Pepperoni pizza was really good, definitely enough to fill you up! The soup salad and sandwich combo option is really nice for the picky eater.
Service was fast and prompt, food was amazing. When we were walking in and seen how they were cooking the pizzas we knew it was going to be next level and that it was. Some of the best pizza we have ever had. Edit: we went back for the bluegrass live band and BBQ food. The brisket was moist and ac
Good place, great beer (it’s Grand Rapids). The pizza is good and sandwiches are amazing. The Jambalaya was interesting, not bad but definitely not a jambalaya, a menu name change would make the dish amazing…if it that makes any sense :)
Chefs kiss to Old Goat - it’s so good! Old goat offers traditional comfort food with unique twists. The atmosphere is so inviting, cozy, and eclectic. Our service was also great. Usually they have a live piano player which really adds to the vibes. Pictured the bubbly brown cheese app, sweet treat
This place has great atmosphere, plus we loved listening to the jazz band during our visit (Sunday afternoon). There was about a 45min wait for the table. The food was really fantastic and the wait staff was super accomplished of my diabetic grandmother that needed to eat ASAP after being seated. Ho
So, this place is phenomenal. The place is well done with plenty of awesome touches. The service? Excellent. TY Emily F. The food? We didn't have the pretzel, the bread or the goat cheese appetizers, but they looked really good. Like, really good. The pizza was excellent. I had the Rhett Butler sa
We loved the outdoor eating area! It was a beautiful evening and lovely atmosphere! Our server was great and asked us if we wanted fresh squeezed lemonade - DO IT! It tasted exactly like what you would get at a fair. Yum! I got the brisket sandwich and could only eat half. Unfortunately, I (again) f
Had lunch outdoors with my daughters here at the Old Goat, and we all loved our entrees. Creative touches on classic dishes. Service was a little slow but worth the wait. It was great to see this new restaurant as part of the revitalization of this neighborhood business district where I grew up 50
First time eating here. So many great sounding dishes, but after seeing the pizza oven, HAD to be pizza! Pepperoni De Olivio... OUTSTANDING!! Bravo to the pizza cook this afternoon! Service was joyful and spot on without smothering. No question...I WILL return for more! Great place!!
This was my second visit to The Old Goat. We came on Sunday with a group of five (and a high chair) for brunch. We were told it would be about a 45-minute wait, but only waited about 15 minutes for a table, which was nice. We expected a wait, and considered the food well worth it. The service was ex
Interior design is 5/5, very unique. I particularly like the repurposing of the steel drums into spot lights. Love the wall paper and mirror combo, romantic. I can tell the food is supposed to be very good, from presentation to portioning, it’s meant to be very good. But it wasn’t quite so, and I bl
The atmosphere was warm and chill. It wasn’t loud at all, only someone playing the piano and light chatter. Our server was friendly and attentive as well! Food was so good that we finished our meals before we remembered to take a photo. Would recommend stopping here for some good eats!
