I absolutely recommend this campground! The sites aren’t too close together but they do have sites specifically for two parties to camp next to each other. We stayed at #12 site and across from us was a trail leading to a perfect swim area. They also have 2 boat landings which are perfect for canoes, and kayaks. There was two beautiful waterfalls with a pathway leading from the road to it. There’s a small museum just down the road which was very interesting and had lots of information about the area. This museum also has trails to hike on. Overall I highly recommend Trails End because of its secluded area. We will be back again! :)
Very nice campsites for tent and campers. Great fishing and hiking in the area. Lots of local outfitters for rental of canoes, boats, and gear if you want to explore the area by lake. Cafe and groceries located at the campground and some of the resorts in the area also have groceries and restaurants. Lots of wildlife including black bears, moose, and loons. A muesum is located near the campground full of fun history of the area.
Nice campground - area was clean and very spacious. We had no problem finding our site and the bathrooms nearby were clean and cared for. There was no firewood for sale nearby (but it was Father's Day weekend.)
Great campground, a few of the sites are still impacted by the forest fire and lacking a little shade, but many of them have somewhere to get out of the sun. This was a great launching point for visiting the wonderful lakes at the end of the trail.
Cool place way up in the woods. Had never been there. No one was there so we were able to take cool pictures.
Great place for might photography, although sight seeing is not as good. If you are not a big hiker or into canoeing, a couple day stay should work fine
The cleanest well water I have ever tasted. Amazing views. I cannot wait for next year.
Our favorite place to visit & relax. So much beauty to see at every turn.
