One of the best bars/restaurants around! It’s a first come first serve kinda place so be ready to grab a chair as soon as it makes itself available. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was very very lively! They are known for their whitefish and pizzas! We were also told by the patrons that most of the appetizers were also incredible so we had some of those as well. Pizzas are great! Fried cheese curds were spectacular, and so we’re the jalapeño poppers! There is also a good selection of craft brews that are made here. The Steelhead Red IPA tasted great. This place is worth checking out!!
Great bartender and so friendly. For an appetizer, I recommend you try the jalapeño poppers with blueberry sauce. Really. The whitefish basket was just perfect, as was the visually pretty fish tacos (they are a bit messy, so roll up your sleeves). Also recommend it. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. Very enjoyable meal. While I didn't order them this time, there are scotch eggs on the menu...will try them next.
So fun! What a wonderful atmosphere. If you're in the upper MI, don't miss this experience. It's crowded and a bit crazy but so worth it. Food is also delicious. Everything was good. The cheese curds were my favorite.
We had to wait a bit for a table, and it's seat yourself, which adds a bit of crazy, but again, it's worth it!
Amazing atmosphere! The battered white fish was definitely some of the best I have ever enjoyed. Salad was fresh with everything crisp. 😋 The dinner plate was filled to the brim. Do not pass this place without stopping to eat there. Our waitress was a sweetheart.
I had the garlic parmesan popcorn and the 10" meat lovers pizza. The popcorn seasoning is homemade and wonderful. The pizza crust was light and airy and crispy on the outside and soft inside. The meat pieces were large and tasty. I would definitely order these again.

This place is truly incredible. The staff is hardworking yet so friendly. The pizza we ordered was one of the best I've hard in a while. We built our own (onions, mushrooms, garlic, tomatoes and feta). The blueberry wheat beer is so refreshing yet crisp. We came back for round 2 because we enjoyed it so much.
Our bartender was genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. Their beer is delicious and let me tell you about the wings and blue cheese...some of the best I've had. I plan to stop back before I leave Grand Marais.
It is consistently one of the best meals you can get with massive portions. The beer is excellent, if traditional. If possible, get the blueberry blond. It's the best light beers I've ever had. These are tried and true great classic brews
Bella was awesome, the fish tacos were some of the best I've ever had and the beer was great!! Would definitely return.
