Very good food for a fair price, I had the pork porterhouse the flavor was out if this world
We were so lucky to have discovered this wonderful venue last night while in Grand Lake. Even though we had no reservation and the staff was slammed, being Labor Day weekend, they accommodated us. The dinner was excellent and our waiter, whose name escapes me (a nice young man from Uzbekistan) was wonderful. The best part of the evening, though, was the entertainment...some great local musicians who make up the "No Name Band". We stayed and danced the remainder of the evening. What an excellent night! Food was great and atmosphere was incredible. Roaring River made perfect backdrop to an amazing meal. Friendly staff and reasonable price made this restaurant a pleasant destination. Thank you Marjorie for the tip!
We ate here a couple times and both times it was excellent. I had the trout with green beans and rice and ate every bite. They don't always do take out because they can get too busy, but all is forgiven. I would definitely eat there again.
The menu is better than anything we found in Grand Lake. The prices are reasonable. The salads were very good. The shrimp surgical was good. Service is a bit slow, but this is a mountain town and you are here to relax, so enjoy an app or drink, and meet new friends. The place is full of amazingly restored jukeboxes and coin op merchandise. It's worth a visit!
First time eating here and it was amazing! We had the all you can eat shrimp and being from the Gulf Coast area, I was a bit skeptical of shrimp in Colorado. We were blown away at the quality and flavor of each kind (coconut, tempura, and scampi). We will definitely return the next time we’re in Grand Lake!
We had an incredible meal here after playing in the mountains all day! The prime rib was mouth watering and everyone of our 13 guests loved their food. I cannot recommend this place enough.
We’ve been coming to Grand Lake for decades but it wasn’t until this year that we found Backstreet Steakhouse. Wish we had found it ages ago!
Well off the main drag it’s much more of a local haunt. Though they’re known for events and catering.
We went there with the family and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I had the veggie tacos with truffle sauce and it was amazing!! Everything was incredibly fresh and it’s clear this place it a step above.
Highly recommend getting a reservation as they fill up fast and people take their time here so turn over is slower.
If you want amazing food that’s high quality and s wine list to match this is the place.
This place has delicious, gourmet food at affordable prices. I can not recommend it highly enough. The trout and the chicken brie were amazing. Make sure you do not miss this tucked away treasure when you are in Grand Lake!
Good food and service! It has a country restaurant feel to the decor. The trout was fresh and tasty. Amazing cauliflower appetizer! Also had the shrimp feast which was good.
Just ate dinner here. Food was excellent! Service was great! Prices comparable to other restaurants in town. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return when we are back in town.
I’ve been coming up to Grand lake for years did not know about this place. Food was excellent start to finish service was great, they even had a band in the back patio playing during the covid 19 this was definitely a breath of fresh air. We haven’t been to a restaurant for a long time.
