We went here for the first time early Thursday afternoon and didn't leave for 5 hours. It blew my expectations out of the water. The concept is amazing - a genuine taproom with good, affordable craft beer (seriously, $4 for a large craft beer?!), interesting food, seating designed for socializing, and is kid friendly (finally, my friends with kids can actually also enjoy beer with me). It felt like home right away and can't wait to go back.
Fantastic staff, they are always friendly and accommodating. The beer is always fresh, cold, and served quickly. All varieties are above par for craft brews and stand out among locally brewed beers. Why not have a flight of bacon with your flight of beer?! Keep up the great selection and great service. I'm glad Grand Forks has such a unique option. I will continue to recommend it to others! (I never write reviews, so this tells you how awesome Half Brothers is!)
Nice taproom brewing some good beer. I got a flight of 4 beers for $6 and we sat on their back patio. It was dog friendly and things had settled down as we stopped in right before closing. Fun spot, great service, would definitely check it out if I was in Grand Forks.

This is a really neat place. Sure, you have to wait in line to order food and drinks, but aside from that minor inconvenience, it is great. The food has always been good and I love all their beers. If you bring kids, there are board games for them to play while Mom and Dad get blasted.
My husband and I had a rare fun date night without the kids. Used a Groupon that was an amazing deal. Tried a bunch of different beer varieties in sampler flights, picked our faves to enjoy as a pint. I picked the French Toast Sour, which was oddly just what it says and delicious. A really unique beer. Food was yummy and generous portions. Staff was friendly. I was glad to see a changing table, and am excited to come back and bring others.
