Subway

Tried to get subs for my family tonight but the store closed early. I was there 20 minutes before the posted closing time. This is the third time this store was closed (and i was there 1/2 hour before the posted time), THREE STRIKES and your OUT. I’ll never go to this location again. Makes you wonder, if they can’t keep the store open per the posted time, what other shortcuts do they take? Go to the Simsbury or East Granby locations instead. Never had a problem with either.

An error with the app forced us to place the order directly at the store. There was only one person working who was very professional and nice, but incredibly overwhelmed by the flow of customers. Later we learned the app placed the order despite the error message. When we got in touch with the manager, he was incredibly rude to me and even said “the app is not his problem”. The shame of it was that we would have simply picked up the extra food if there was no way to cancel it. Instead, this manager made the choice to belittle me and speak with a raised voice. Terrible, terrible customer service by a manager who told me he oversees 10 stores. Do better!

Subway at most locations is a consistently good experience. This one is no exception, good service with an inviting atmosphere. The only quibble I could mention is I came once when they had no bread available. I'm not sure what happened, maybe something happened to mess up the previous batch but that was a rare occurrence. I've been to this location dozens of times with out any other issues.
