Maverick's Grille is a legit establishment. Chill, down-to-Earth, local establishment. The food is terrific and substantial and the service is wonderful.
A relaxed Granby atmosphere without the Breckenridge pretentiousness.
Very nice and tasty burger and chips. There was nothing wrong with the food and service I received at Maverick’s Grille. I would like to see a place like this in New Jersey where I am from.
Found this place by chance, and it turned out to be a great experience!! They have a robust menu for a small town restaurant. Their house made guacamole was awesome! Along with the fresh chips. I even put some on my burger. THE BEAST!! If I'm remembering the name correctly. 🤣. Anyway, it came out cooked perfectly! Juicy patty, the spicy elk sausage wasn't overly spicy and all the fixings just brought it all together. My wife had the ham and cheddar, definitely had good flavor, but it seemed to suck the moisture right out of my mouth. Easily remedied with a little sauce of some sort. The fries were crisp and delicious! I made some fry sauce to go with them, and I probably ate more of those than I did my own chips. Definitely worth the stop, get in there, get some friendly service and great food!
100% one of the best burgers I have ever had!! Our waitress Denise was very welcoming and polite! Lovely atmosphere too :)
My husband and I stopped here for lunch and were not one bit disappointed! We are here on our honeymoon and this was the best food and experience we've had in Colorado so far (and we've been all over). We ordered the southwestern egg rolls for an appetizer and were full before our meals even came out. They were delicious! The waitress was also lovely to talk to.
We stopped in after my son's football game. Worth the stop for sure. Good service food came out in a timely manner and their guacamole was delicious with fresh chips! My family ordered steak it was cooked perfect. Overall great place to eat!
Great food. Great service. Everyone was extremely friendly. The breakfast burger special was awesome. Fried pickles were huge! Good family atmosphere and are waiter was on point with everything. I believe his name was Levi. Would go back any time I’m in town. The side salad was a meal size. Good portions.
My family and I had mixed feelings in our review for this restaurant. I must say the green chilli soup is awesome and per the reviews. The roll was not good though and I found the skin too thick and I wasn't a fan of the fried chicken wings. My husband and son had the burger and it was just okay according to them. Service was excellent though.
We found this place after leaving Rocky mountain and it was delicious!!! Seth made the best bloody Mary’s and service/food was great! Super laid back environment and amazing food. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. The beast burger and hot wings were great! Arcade games were all out of service but our kids liked the fish tank and the bathrooms were clean so that’s a bonus.
The food here is worth the stop. Food quality is top -notch and it's prepared properly. I had the turkey pretzel "cowgirl sandwich" (sub honey mustard for mayo), cooked perfectly and my daughter's kids burger was great. Fresh ingredients and someone cares what the food looks like going out. I spent most of my meal listening to another table talk about how great all the food was. Egg rolls, fried pickles, the burgers, the wings... I didn't have any of that so I might have to go back before I leave town!
Service was mostly on-point.
