Excellent food ! Excellent service. Not expensive very clean and great atmosphere with high back booths for privacy. I loved it. Didn't take pics but food was very appetizing when brought to our table.

I have only gone once. It was everything you'd expect. Free chips and salsa, fast hot food, and friendly staff. I got the horchata to drink and a double order of rice and one beef and one cheese enchilada. Everything was cooked to perfection.
Food did not taste fresh. Waitress was not friendly. Was not expecting this service form an "El Maguey". We have visited this chain of restaurants and have never had a bad experience until now. Restaurant was clean and well kept.
I have always liked this place very much. The second to the last time I was there, I was with my husband and we each ordered something different and both dinners were horrible. But that's the only time that has ever happened. All the other times I have loved it.
Food here, as all the other reviews say is great. I like most of you are weary of reviews, but this place is one of the good ones. Won't be disappointed. Service was good this time. Last time not as good. But I will be back.
I'm going with 4 stars. The server was efficient but I wouldn't have considered her super friendly. Don't get me wrong, she was nice. I've just had servers who were very friendly and outgoing. Still, she was a good server.
