Miso Japan

I would give 3.5 if possible. I do enjoy this place but recently I've noticed some standards drop. Also, was not aware of there being no more salad, an unfortunate loss. I also don't know if this side of Salmon is worth $9 if I'm honest (Papa John's Garlic Sauce for scale). If the salad was for costs, I'd rather lose the salmon and get the salad included again!

Ate there last evening. Food is great! I used to love eating there. So disappointing as a pleasant dining experience now. It was more like a PICNIC, fast food style! Dine-in means you stand up to at low table and order your food. It would be so good if they could understand English, or if I could speak Japanese. I actually prepaid over 20% for a tip for someone to bring our STYROFOAM CARTONS and PAPER CUPS of hot tea to our table. If you need anything, you walk up near the exit door and get it yourself. Sad to say that the ambiance of Penguin Point is a step up from Miso now. Unless they change it to a better dining experience, I'll just order food to go. Their food is great, but I want my tip back!

The food is great, but priced too high considering you order and pickup at counter and also cleanup your table when you leave. They also reduced what you get with your entree and charge extra if you ask to remove something from your dish. Have to buy water. No waitress staff. Not appreciating the new "normal".

We arrived for lunch and were immediately greeted at the door. The food was served as soon as it was done, so everything was the proper temperature. The photos online looked super impressive, which is why we came here. Our food was good, just not as spectacular as the online pictures. We had gyoza, tempura shrimp and veggies, onion soup, California roll and a Christmas roll. Our waitress was kind and efficient. Their seating is nothing special, and this is not a lingering kind of place. The bathrooms could use a good cleaning and were well worn. Even though our food was good, we probably would not come here again.

Haven't been to miso in a while. Me and my husband ordered our usual. Hibachi chicken and two Tokyo rolls. Almost 50 dollars, didn't realize the prices went up. For some reason the salad doesn't come with the hibachi chicken anymore, very disappointed in that. Raise the prices but take aways the sides? In our bag was supposed to be chopsticks. For some reason a piece of torn cardboard?
