Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes

We were very pleased with our first ever visit to Mooyah in Gonzales Louisiana this evening. We love a great burger and they certainly did not disappoint. The burgers were fresh, hot and juicy with a perfect amount of toppings on them. The buns were super fresh and lightly toasted potato buns that complimented the burger nicely. We ordered regular french fries with a side of queso cheese sauce and they were great too! They were fresh french fries with the skin still on and none of the frozen ones you get from other places. They also had sweet potato fries but we really wanted the queso with the regular fries. I wish I would have gotten a milkshake but I was full after eating my burger and fries so maybe next time! All of the employees seemed very nice and the cashier, Austin, was very nice and patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted since we had never been there before. He really went above and beyond which is rare to find in the restaurant business. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and I certainly will be back! They rocked it! The only thing I did not like was when you were in the ladies room you could see out and after we left I noticed that you could see into the sink area from outside. Of course there are doors on the stalls but it just was a little creepy. Maybe they could cover the window better?
