We ordered the curry chicken and Sweeney's Mid-day Tea and shared them. It was all very delicious and filled the two of us up. We even got to meet Ms. Sweeney and she was very nice.

Delicious food, wonderful tea, sweet staff, and a very pleasant, cosy atmosphere. I am so incredibly happy to have found this place! I have missed the Royal Tea Room since it closed several years ago, and Miss Barbara has brought back so many of my favorites, from the savory shepherd's pie to the wonderful selection of delicate little tea sandwiches to the variety of delicious teas served in her beautiful collection of china. I highly, highly recommend everyone check it out!
As a note, it is inside the artist's village building at the back, so it can be a bit challenging to find if you don't know that it's there.
It's a little place tucked away from the busy pace of life. Get a cup of hot tea and a scone and just relax. Great food. Very nice place.

Charming little shop hidden inside of a flea market in downtown goldsboro. A nice selection of teas. I haven't tired the same tea twice. The food is delicious and the desserts are homemade. The owner is very friendly and personable.
Sweet service, phenomenal food, and great tea! There’s plenty of selection and full pots to refill your cups. Will have to go again!
