Chart House

My husband brought me here for the first time, for my birthday dinner last night. Mathew our waiter was amazing, he made excellent recommendations and made sure our service was stellar. The husband and I are fine dining veterans, and Chart House checked all our boxes. The cocktails are delicious and fun, the wine complimented the food very well, and the dishes we delicious. The staff are all super friendly and attentive. The view we had from our table was incredible. We got to watch the lights in town flicker on during sunset. The restaurant is hip and trendy, with incredible views. I can't wait to sit on this patio during the summer. I'd like to remind all the people complaining about the cost, that it's not over priced, it's out of your budget. Honestly for the caliber of restaurant, the prices were fairly standard. Over all I couldn't be more pleased with my birthday dinner!

We had an excellent time, I appreciate, the welcoming hostess, in my opinion that is who set the tone for the restaurant. She was delightful, friendly and knowledgeable. Our waitress Erin, gave us a great overview on the menu and specials for Thanksgiving. We ordered a bottle of wine, and Erin maintained a light conversation. We ordered an appetizer a mushrooms brucheta yummy. Then, we had salads a Cesar for me with the most generous pieces of cheese, my husband had the Kale with butternut squash. In the pic you will see a tiny bit--he devour it, said that it was scrumptious salad...got that picture in the nick of time! The entrées I had the Chilean Bass, And hubby had the Mahi. For dessert, I know your thinking that was a lot of food, agree. About 70% of my entrée is waiting in the refrigerator to be my dinner tonight. Desserts: I had the Mudd cake obscenely delicious, and hubby had the pecan pie. Everything was great. Lastly, Erin was a great salesperson and we did participate in the rewards membership. Haven’t been to the chart house for years. They did not disappoint! From the friendly and attentive hostess, our wonderful server, and our wine expert, the experience was over the top! Of course the food for all of us was impeccable. Take the time to fully enjoy this experience. Thanks for the wonderful evening out!

We visited The Chart House last Saturday. Sadly it was a very disappointing experience. It took over an hour to get our entrees after waiting to be able to place the order. During the wait no one communicated the reason for the delay.. The food arrived and it was lukewarm. The prime rib had approximately 3 inches of fat and was unappealing. We watched as other diners ordered, ate and left while we were still waiting. One of the individuals in our party made the comment "the reviews were right". We ended up being there over 3 1/2 hours. I am aware of staffing issues at restaurants currently but as a manager you need to be aware of issues and provide updates to your customers. I did try providing feedback via the company's website but after a week I had not heard back from anyone. Sadly my first time visiting this restaurant will be my last.

Listen, I never like to complain. I worked in the restaurant business for many years including fine dinning. I understand about the service issues due to covid but this was ridiculous. Our poor server was doing great until they sat her 4 more tables back to back on top of the 4 tables she already had. (including a large party) The king crab was extremely fishy and mushy, completely uneatable. My steak was ordered Medium and came out ex-well done. I gave it to my dog this morning and he didn't even eat it. I would have asked for the manager but he was no where to be found and never touched our table. We had to flag our server down after waiting 20 min just to ask for our check. The dinner came out to $176 without drinks and I had to through the food out. It was literally the worst dining experience I have ever had.

Slow service, bad food. Sat at 8p, food arrived at 9:40p and we finally got the check at 10:25p. They were closing down the restaurant when we got our food. My plate was extremely hot but the food was almost room temp - so clearly waiting in the window too long. Lobster tail was rubber. I immediately had them box my food - couldn’t risk waiting on something else. The entire party was annoyed. Appetizers were good, drinks were fine. Charged us full price for everything. Glad I didn’t pick the place.
