Was a nice surprise to have a restaurant in Golconda that serves both food and adult beverages. Heather is a great server - as is the blond behind the bar(didn't catch her name). However, there is a server that is totally clueless about how to do much of anything. Food is pretty good... (Meaning we've not had anything bad yet) But only bottle - NO draft local beers at all... I'd give it a C+... For a small town, they've tried to something that works. So far, so good.

We ended up here because the restaurant we planned to go to had an hour and a half wait on food and very glad we did. Great service and even better food, delicious. My wife said it was the best catfish she's ever had.

Stopped in Golconda for fuel after a day of hiking in the area a decided to look for a place to eat. The reviews for Diver Down were good so we decided to give it a try. Great atmosphere, cold beer, friendly people (Margie) to make you feel welcome, and great food. Margie was a our server (who we loved talking too) and could not have been nicer. We'd highly recommend coming here if you are in the area.
Did we mention Margie? What a nice lady, made us feel at home and welcome.
Golconda should be proud to have a great place like this in thier home town.

On my list of favorite places to eat. Great location and food (includes a nice variety of choices), fun atmosphere, friendly staff, clean restaurant and restrooms, reasonable prices. Well worth it!
