Bubba's Shrimp Shack

We have been here 3 times since finding this place after visiting Gloucester Point. They have some fantastic seafood. We highly recommend the shrimp and the flounder. It has been years since I've had a good tasting fresh flounder filet. Bubba's absolutely delivers some of the freshest and tastiest seafood and side dishes. Try the fried okra. Everything is made to order and fried to perfection. We will absolutely return again for more. This is one of our new favorites spots.

I ordered the seafood tacos as it was Taco 🌮 Tuesdays sooo I ordered one of each ... The Catfish Taco, The Shrimp Taco & The Oyster Taco. I must say I was highly impressed. The Catfish $1.99 Shrimp $2.49 & Oyster $3.99. The Best was the Shrimp 5 jumbo fried pieces ... Second The Fish Awesome!! I don't recommend the oyster only 4 small came in a double wrapped taco ... Overall Pretty Good!!!

I went in to order in person at the restaurant. I made my water at 18:30. I ordered a fish-and-chips and a crab cake platter within extra coleslaw. 45 minutes later I was still waiting. When I went up to the counter to ask where my order was, the kid behind the counter said oh it's here. I said how long as it been there he said Ah about 15 or 20 minutes. No one called my name even though I was sitting there. This is poor performance and poor Customer service. Totally unacceptable. When I asked for the manager, I got told hes not here tonight.

ALWAYS on point, ALWAYS professional, and courteous they care about their customers 100% They have the best seafood in Virginia, hands down. This is one of the cleanest restaurants inside and out, (restrooms included) that you will come across. The pictures were my lunch today. Which was sweet tea, fried catfish, fried shrimp, french fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw. Thanks guys it was amazing as Always.🥰 love yall

This place holds a lot of feels for me. My father took me here over the summer before he passed bc he loved it so much and I just recently went back with family. Omg their crab cakes are my favorite and I'm picky. Their hush puppies are also very delicious 😋 I always want to try their she crab soup when I've been, but the baskets are so amazingly filling. Next time.
